Dear Gilding Barnacles,

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from your surfing festival, but I had a feeling it was going to be something special. After spending four nights here, you completely exceeded my expectations.

The food, the art, the music, the surfing, everything was beyond amazing. It’s hard to put into words how special this place and this festival are.

I’m not quite sure how many days it’s going to take me to recover, but one thing I know for sure: I’ll be back someday! 🌞🌊🤍 by @tachbilodeau

Countless hours have gone into this beautiful project, and this weekend marked Castaway’s second pop-up shop! 🌞🌊🪡

I can’t quite put into words how nerve-wracking it is to showcase your work and hope that all the time, love, and effort you’ve poured into it are worth it. But seeing how this little event turned out has left me absolutely overjoyed!

The feedback was so positive, and I loved meeting everyone, sharing stories, and connecting over our mutual love for the ocean. At the heart of this adventure is the desire to create a community of like-minded people who share the joy of salty water, creativity, and a slower way of life.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Castaway. Your encouragement means more than you know. I’ll definitely be back! 🌞🌊🪡

Last year today was the hardest day of my life. My heart shattered into a million pieces, but I don’t want this day to feel only sad. I want to remember all the amazing memories we shared.
