Still feeling the warmth from this one. 🤍
In January, we passed out 4,500 coats to the students we serve across Dallas ISD. When the freeze hit, they were ready.
Thank you to everyone who helped keep our kids safe, warm, and cared for! taken in Dallas, Texas by @tackletomorrow

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bob, the beloved co-founder of Tackle Tomorrow and a true champion for underserved communities in South Dallas. His passion, heart, and tireless dedication transformed countless lives — especially through his work fighting illiteracy and expanding opportunity where it was needed most.
Bob wasn’t just a leader — he was a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration. He saw potential where others saw barriers, and he built bridges with his vision and generosity. Charles loved Bob deeply, and often shared that Tackle Tomorrow would not exist if Bob hadn’t pushed, encouraged, and believed in him enough to make it happen. Bob saw the vision long before it became reality, and he refused to let it stay just an idea.
Beyond Tackle Tomorrow, Bob devoted himself to supporting other nonprofit organizations, always guided by service, compassion, and a commitment to lasting impact. His love for the community showed not just in words, but in consistent action.
To the South Dallas families, students, and partners whose lives he touched — and to Charles, whose life and work were forever shaped by Bob’s belief — his legacy will live on. It lives in every child empowered to read, every opportunity opened, and every community strengthened because Bob cared.
Rest in peace, Bob. Thank you for your service, your heart, and your unwavering faith in others. You will be deeply missed — and forever remembered.
