✨💃 Spotlight Series: 2026 Alumni Dancers 💃✨

Meet Barbara Hamilton! One of DC's most beloved creative forces, Barbara is the founder of Ociana, a premier event and floral design firm whose work has been featured in Traditional Home and Vogue. She's also a true veteran of our stage, having danced with DC's Dancing Stars for the past seven years.

Barbara is dancing to support Tackle Tomorrow, a nonprofit working to improve early childhood literacy rates in underserved communities through educational programming, community engagement, and family support services — replacing cycles of poverty with hope, advancement, and prosperity.

Your donations are your votes! Support Barbara as she dances for Tackle Tomorrow at this year's DC's Dancing Stars Gala. 🏈📚💜

Slaying giants isn’t about size—it’s about mindset.

Most people wait.
Some step up.

Get on the battlefield, take your shot, and go build something bigger than yourself.

Always be a Unicorn 🦄™️

Life isn’t always easy—some chapters test you, some build you, and some reward you. But if you stay stuck, you’ll never see what’s next.

Sometimes the reason things aren’t happening for you… is because you’re meant to be the one making things happen for others.

Embrace the hard moments. Let them make you stronger, sharper, and better—but never lose who you are in the process.

Turn the page. Your best chapter is still ahead. 🦄™️
