Happy Birthday, JB! Or should I say Dada?

If I were to use one word to describe this past year with you it would be “expansion”.

So many comfort zones were abandoned. So many doors were opened, and old habits died hard. Our family, our home and our blessings all grew in very real ways and in practically every instance, you initiated each progression.

You haven’t stopped building on the person you were since the day we met, and life amplifies in response… I look forward to every new year with you. Plus, your Dada era is truly the best one yet. BOTH of our sweet boys would agree wholeheartedly (I can’t believe we are using plural words for our children).

Phewww what a week. 🌷

From delivering our second son into this world, another trip around the sun (thank you, all, for the birthday wishes!) to Easter Sunday… We feel God’s grace and presence in our lives in the big & small moments, again and again.

Mason Michael is our March baby, at the buzzer.
3-31 💙 8 lbs 1 oz 💙 20 inches & delicious.
We waited an extra 8 days for his arrival, only to be met by someone who already feels like home. Big brother Wes is as smitten as we are, and his 2 yr old antics haven’t faltered amidst all the newness of the season.

My parents prepped and delivered a multi course Easter dinner as Wesley ate his weight in peanut butter mnm’s. Our extended family and nurturing community continue to cheer us on at every turn of this parenting journey. JB is rearing a toddler solo some days, and he still finds the energy to make sure I’m taken care of and seen.

My updates have been slow to make it to the feed, but I can assure you, we have been living life in the fast lane these days. Sending love to those near and far! Thank you for the check-ins and memes and meal trains and texts and love. The greatest of these is love. ✨ by @tacomadome
