Students from the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, who are in the Special Forces Combat Diver Qualification Course, are tested on their ability to fix any deficiency they might encounter while remaining calm at NAS Key West, Florida February 19, 2026. @that.pao.guy

Students who attended the six-week course were qualified as basic military open-circuit and closed-circuit combat divers knowledgeable in waterborne surface infiltration and exfiltration tactics, techniques and procedures and qualified in waterborne operations including day and night ocean subsurface navigation swims, day and night infiltration dives, deep dives, search dives, diving physics, physiology and injuries, marine hazards, tides and currents.

Sometimes, you get to see part of the training in front of The Shores, of what is called “Hell Week.”

🇺🇸 Hell Week is the fourth week of the first phase of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training.

The Navy describes Hell Week as a controlled, extremely stressful environment intended to simulate some of the pressures candidates may encounter in combat. It has been some of the most demanding military training in the world for generations.

Candidates are subjected to enormous amounts of running, swimming, carrying boats and equipment, obstacle courses, teamwork exercises, and other physical evolutions that can be extremely dangerous. A tradition in Coronado that goes back more than 80 years.

The idea is that extreme circumstances reveal characteristics that ordinary training cannot.

The Navy has specifically emphasized teamwork, perseverance, character, and humility in its special warfare selection training.

Most people associate Coronado with the Hotel del Coronado, the beach, The Shores, sunsets, tourism, and the beautiful village atmosphere. But immediately alongside that world is a place where young sailors are deliberately pushed to their physical and psychological limits in pursuit of becoming Navy SEALs.

Behind the scenes of an incredible experience 🎬

I had the opportunity to work on this film alongside my work wife, @uurbannails, providing hair, makeup, and SFX for the cast. It was such a rewarding experience getting to bring characters to life while learning more about the filmmaking process.

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be part of this project and for the chance to meet so many talented and welcoming people on set. Getting a glimpse into the film industry right here around our hometown of Lampasas made the experience even more special.

A story written by @codybobay and produced by Chase & Jordan Kuker, right here in our hometown, it was an honor to be a small part of bringing it to life.

So grateful for the experience, the people I met, and the memories made on set. Here’s to more opportunities, more creativity, and hopefully more film work in the future!

🫶💃🏻🤙 … Stunt people are a DIFFERENT breed, now combine that with an Olympian discipline 🫡🫡 @victoriastambaugh was an absolute rockstar during every scene and every take 🎥 🎬 🍿. Also I would definitely bet on her in real life against @codybobay 🫡🫶❤️

Last night was officially a wrap on the 4-day proof of concept for The Weapon. 🎬

It feels so surreal getting to say that this was not only the first film set I’ve ever worked on, but the first set I’ve ever even been on. I walked into this project with no prior film or SFX makeup experience and walked away with so much more knowledge, confidence, inspiration, and love for the industry.

The biggest thank you to my coworker @kenyaxhair for being by my side through this entire process. I couldn’t imagine experiencing our first set without you. 💖

And forever grateful to @chasekuker @jokuk @pillarproductionstx @i68studios for taking a chance on us, bringing us onto this project, and trusting us to help bring these characters and this story to life. The knowledge @kaitlin_lyerly shared with us got us was incredibly helpful and helped me so much in preparation for this type of work 💄💅🏼

To the incredible cast — thank you for trusting us with your faces, sitting through all the blood, bruises, grime, sweat, touch-ups, continuity photos, and everything in between. 😂 You made our jobs SO much fun.

And to every single person behind the scenes who made these four days happen — it was genuinely such a privilege getting to watch everyone do what they do best. The people I met along the way made such an impact on me, and that might be my favorite part of this entire experience.

Today marks our final day of production on THE WEAPON proof-of-concept film, and I’m beyond excited about what we’ve created together.

The passion, talent, sacrifice, and trust every single person brought to this project have been incredible. From the cast and stunt team to every department behind the camera, everyone showed up ready to build something powerful, cinematic, and truly special.
