Trade business owners can look like they've got it all sorted. Behind the scenes, plenty of them are doing it without a single person who actually understands the pressure.

When I was running my own plumbing and roofing business, I was lonely. Properly lonely. And I had some serious stuff going on upstairs that I wasn't dealing with either.

Rock bottom looks different for every tradie, but avoiding your troubles with behaviour like day drinking is a familiar one for plenty of blokes on the tools.

Getting out the other side is rarely one big moment. It takes intentional decisions to change, made easier by finding support and someone to actually talk to, even when that's harder than the toughest job on site.

That support can't stop after one conversation, because managing your mental health may not stop either. What matters is you're not carrying it on your own.

From $50k a month to double that in 90 days. Most electricians can wire a switchboard blindfolded but couldn't tell you their gross profit margin if you asked twice. @zeus_elec's Mitch McMahon was living proof of that, with zero clarity on his numbers.

Three months into coaching with us, his revenue had doubled! His Gross profit and Net profit shot up too. Numbers he can actually explain instead of guessing have given Mitch the clarity and confidence in business to make the strategic moves that count.

Electrical business owner Jack from Bear Group (@bearegroup) didn't know if his service and maintenance jobs were actually turning a profit, but with the help of coaching he got to work sorting his pricing.

Most trade business owners aren't short on trade skill. They're short on the business skills nobody taught them, pricing, lead gen, leading a team. That gap shows up as a 60+ hour week problem, a bank balance problem, a "no one else can do it right" problem. Plumbers, sparkies, roofers and HVAC owners doing $80k+ a month know the work. It's everything else that's quietly cracking. Like working every weekend while the footy happens without him.

Big revenue, still checking the bank account like it's bad news.

Doing every job himself because handing it over feels riskier than burnout.

No one to call about the decisions that actually keep him up at night.

Missed school pickups that turn into a habit before he notices.

Watching from the outside, telling himself it's different for him, when he actually needs to be in this room.
