It’s been a two weeks since the first of 3 #btsarirangworldtour2026 in Stanford. I was able to meet a few online friends irl and attended each day with local ARMY friends. As you know if you’ve read my other concert posts, I tend to not take a lot of photos during the concert so I can take it all in. However, I sprinkled a few clips in.

Image 1: photo of me facing the stage with armyb0mb up
Image 2: with @mwaarlight
Image 3: with @redredapples Image 4: same as image 1 but facing the camera
Image 5: clip of Jin drinking water
Image 6: clip of dynamite chorus with all 7 dancing
Image 7: short clip of surprise song N.O
Image 8: at dinner with 5 others.
Image 9: finding two other army wearing rj head bands on day 2
Image 10: with @cindythea33
Image 11: image of my back facing stage with Jin on screens
Image 12: all 7 sitting on stage
Image 13: photo of screen with all 7 shown
Image 14: day 3 photo of 6 people

My ult bias! I love a great kpop idol because they can teach me so much about how to navigate the world. Jin has taught me to make work fun when you can, keep boundaries firm, everyone deserves to play, and so much more. I love my Capricorn Venus guy. Also, I can’t believe he’s real? There were multiple times over the two days I saw him in Anaheim where I just really had to pause and remind myself that he is an actual human. My photo skills leave much to be desired but I was living in the moment and trying not to take photos. BTS concerts are always like that for me. #runseokjin_eptour_anaheim by @taesdeletedcontent

Running Wild got weird fast. And anyone with a conscience who has been paying attention was likely triggered by the imagery of meteors (and messaging of the end of the world) with what is happening in 🍉. At the end of the video, you see Jin and a dog sitting and observing the chaos on the screen all along, completely removed from it as passive observers. Or, perhaps it wasn’t what was shown on the screen and it was actually happening outside, but he distracted himself enough to ignore it.

This is exactly the approach HYBE wants you to take with their apolitical positioning publically but their clear support of Zionist privately. Disconnect from the world. It’s happening around you but not to you.

As a hardcore JIN stan it’s upsetting that he either lacks the awareness to connect the dots, or worse, didn’t care.

Running Wild is a song about freedom. It is one of the few songs that didn’t involve any Zionist. So what does it say coupled with this imagery?

If I didn’t love BTS and what they have stood for in the past, I wouldn’t care enough to think about this. But I do care, and so should you. by @taesdeletedcontent

I hate a neutral ass bitch. Donate, share, take action. Who gives a fuck about a photo card, an album, an idol who is at the whims of their state, if we’re allowing the spread of colonialism, racism, and ethnic cleansing. Thank you @uarmyhat for the screenshots. by @taesdeletedcontent

So many hot takes about the seven video. Here’s some random thoughts in short because I don’t feel like explaining myself.
1. We got a problematic depiction of male affection because toxic fans can’t handle an alternative where the other protagonist was reciprocating.
2. Is the women’s anger what is destroying everything around them? Maybe that’s a sign y’all aren’t meant to be?
3. I would have loved a video where they both showed more physicality towards each other as a way to better show the tension between them. But I get that they had to soften the song with this story line where he is meant to be goofy and endearing.
4. I’m worried for some of you who think this type of male attention (stalking) is acceptable and desirable. by @taesdeletedcontent
