Body Transformation: Benjamin J.

My journey was not an easy one. I’ve faced almost every obstacle you can think of; homelessness, bullying, racial discrimination, interracial discrimination, abusive childhood, fatherless home, toxic dysfunctional friendships/relationships, traumatizing break-ups, and life-threatening (non-covid) illnesses, to name a few.

However, with every struggle I’ve faced, in retrospect, I’ve always found a way to dig deep and use my pain as the fuel needed to break negative generational cycles and drive positive change.

Our struggles and traumas do not define us. Repeat. Our struggles and traumas do not define us. Each of us has the power to rewrite our own story.

Important tip: Please be patient with yourself during your growth/healing process. Allow yourself the grace needed to learn from struggles, and celebrate wins, both big and small.
