POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Meet @1975ish: Rochester local, lake surfer, danger sledding enthusiast, and the guy you need to know.

Erich is the kind of Rochester local who knows that the best parts of a place aren’t just the spots on the map. They’re the stories, the people, and the memories that make it home.

Now, Haymaker is joining Erich’s Wegmans home. Because every local legend deserves a good go-to drink in hand for all his adventures.

New to @Wegmans. Made for the locals who make a new city feel like home.

Here’s to 18 years of artistic adventures rallied behind the 1975 flag.

1975’s old enough to vote . . . this whole thing was originally intended to just last a year, just to prove to myself I could do it. I never expected all that would come after, but my life (and hopefully yours) has been so much richer because of this wild hair of an idea.

A deep, heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s supported my artistic and curatorial shenanigans over the years. I will forever appreciate every one of you, and while my output has slowed for all the reasons (*waves hands*), my aim still remains the same.

2026 has been a rough one for getting anything done besides existing, but I promise October will not pass without something spooky from 1975. #1975Gallery

CATS OF THE LITTLE!

😻 CatVideoFest returns this weekend, Aug. 7-9, and due to popular demand, we added shows Saturday Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16 too. A couple of our screenings are nearing a sell-out, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance (at thelittle.org or at the box office).

😻 To celebrate the yearly collection of family-friendly internet cat videos and short films, here are some "Cats of The Little"—sweet friends that you sent us to be displayed on the big screen before the movie. We received close to 400 photos, so this is just a small sample of the beautiful, silly, chaotic cats that rule our lives.

😻 Here's a reminder that a portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to our friends at the Pawsitive Cat Cafe and RocKats. a cat

Any day spent watching artists create is time well spent. I wish I could have stayed to see the finished pieces, but don't worry, Pizza Nota—I’ll be back. I love what you've done with the place!

Raising families, running a business, and still making time to skate has taught us something: responsibility doesn’t always take things away—it can make you better.
At KRUDCO, we are two 52-year-old skaters who never stopped. Life gets busier, sessions get shorter, but every push means more.
If you’re balancing work, family, and still finding time to skate, RESPECT! You’re probably stronger and more resilient than you realize.
KRUDCO isn’t just owned by skaters—it’s owned and run by two 52-year-old skaters and family men, who are still out there doing it.
Keep pushing. 🛹🔥

First post since 2021 😬. Originally I thought I would end the gallery with my last image, a beautiful photo of my wife and daughter. Would have been appropriate too as becoming a dad effectively squashed my hours wandering, seeking out beautiful landscapes. Sounds like a sad story but it's ok! I've simply adjusted all the hours I used to spend communing with nature- into daddy play time. Very different, but equally rewarding.

I was inspired to post again bc today, I got to check off a Rochester-specific bucket list item. This afternoon, I had the privilege of being a guest on WXXI's Connections along with Lee Green, City Mark Designer, @1975ish, and my boss, the City's Director of Communications, @piercebarb to talk about our film, City Mark, and all of the ways we're celebrating the symbol's 50 year anniversary.
Thanks to @dalboz17 for being a great host! It was a great conversation. More to come!

Happy Birthday, Mom. You would have been 77 today.

Another rediscovered gem from the archives, probably from about 1979, Mom’s holding a baby Craig while I’m distracted in whatever it is I’m up to.

I want to thank every one who took time to stop into @100lumierephoto for the opening of Convergence, featuring the art of @allmypixels and me. It was good to see you all.

Sorry if I didn't tag you, but I maxed out!

If you didn't get a chance to stop in, the work will be up for the month of May. Drop in when you can.
