Wow. That’s quite a definition. The older I get, the more I realize how much wisdom I lack. Thanks Dunning-Kruger effect, you got me! Strong women friendships are vital and create an environment for each woman to find confidence and strength! Foster good female friendships! I love these women and having them in my daily life has been a blessing. They continue to support, love, and cheer me on in all the peaks and valleys of my life.

Had such an amazing time with these women at the Steamboat Springs Bodybuilding Retreat!

I love that we all grow closer every year and continue to grow together in friendship and life. I learn so much from everyone every trip and am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it and lead mental health sessions

@hollyfitatfifty_ifbbpro hosts the most incredible experiences and really curates it for us as athletes making sure we get gym time, pampered, exploration around the location, and amazing food made by @prochef_fitgirl who is incredible at nourishing us with food, laughter, insights, and care

I’m so thankful to call these women some of my closest friends.

We can cry in one moment, bust out laughing the next, and totally decompress or roast each other. It’s amazing and life giving!

It was so amazing to have @savanasharpp lead incredible posing clinics, learn more about @karahacb as a person and connect on many deeper levels & witness how she pours into others & even see her give back more to herself, see @1hotpilotchic having fun and letting go through openness and vulnerability that I admire so much, @stephmackris inspire us with her amazing ideas and intelligence as well as humility, @finally_finley_ my roomie make huge breakthroughs and share such positive insights, @midlife.maverick shine so bright with incredibly undeniable growth inside and out every time we reunite and for us to have fun twerking together lol, I always appreciate seeing @mn.dana.denise who has embarked on so many incredible journeys and is such a dynamic woman with pure intentions and honesty

I can’t say enough about these incredible women who inspire me to stay healthy, youthful, laughing, open, and learning

I love being the "behbey" of the group and soaking in so much wisdom while also having the opportunity to serve my purpose and passion here

God has continuously and endlessly blessed me

This group of women represent wisdom, experience, resilience, fun, discipline, vulnerable, strong, feminine, sexy, confident, committed, nurturing WOMANHOOD

I am fulfilled!

Been having a blast with my girls in Steamboat Springs at our annual retreat for bodybuilding competitors! We range in age from 27 to 57 but we share a common passion for bodybuilding and competing. While we spend our days working out, eating healthy prep friendly meals prepared by @prochef_fitgirl and posing with the gorgeous @savanasharpp it is the time in between, when we share our lives most authentically, that makes for the most magical moments. We are all working toward our goals, no matter what they are, and loving and supporting one another as we go. What’s not to love? Thank you, @hollyfitatfifty_ifbbpro for another great retreat!

Arnold Friday March 1 recap.
Expo with @1hotpilotchic , got lotsa loot, saw Arnold @schwarzenegger on the stage, watched prelim bikini while Michelle almost puked (but she was determined to watch it so she prepped a puke bag just in case, I fanned her so she’d cool off), more loot, photo shoot with @_qmedia_ , then Angel practice with my peeps, hugged a bunch, compared back fusion scars with @drbikinibrooke, had an epic day that most 72 y o women don’t get to experience….life is good.

Had an amazing time a few weeks back (I don’t know how long it’s been and I am too lazy to look, so there) at the @npcwomensworkshop in Miami. Had a fabulous time with my crew, made new friends and got to meet some of my own personal heroes. I had the great honor of re-meeting the phenomenal Lenda Murray, @themsolympia (I met her last year and was so excited!) Lenda Murray was a real inspiration to me in my early 20’s when I dabbled in bodybuilding before my drinking career took off. I remember thinking what a bad ass she was - so courageous, too. ❤️🔥 I was also blessed to meet Whitney Jones @whitneyjones_ifbbpro - a woman who has inspired me for years and has shown me repeatedly that age, injuries and being “busy” are not excuses or reasons to quit. We motor through and keep going. Finally, I got to see my sweet friend, Celeste Rains-Turk @celestial_fit - This ray of positive light rocked the stage with her presentation and made me laugh my ass off more than once. Celeste, you are on fire, my love - Remember who is fan-girling over who, OKAY?? Such a wonderful experience all around and a great motivator for this season’s prep, which has kicked off! Here I come, 2024. 🙌🔥💀
