Hard posting this cuz it’s necessary, this why I support who I support when ppl genuinely come together n build a community of talented likeminded ppl. @thecornerdenver will be a staple larger than any other local open mic or promo w.e , cuz it’s core values remain larger than a money scheme and some prop so ppl can hear Carter constantly headline rap or listen to his beats no dumb sh- like that, it’s for the ppl bout the ppl for the future of the next group of producers in our community coming together n listening to music for the sake of collaboration & expression. I done seen a lot n trust ts and its intentions are new. #noAI

Money2Me artist: @MickJenkins Mixed & Mastered by Me produced by @1paprob & @grimbeats_
• My mastering philosophy dives way deeper than just overlimiting my own mixes to see a certain number come up on my LUFs meter and clap my hands and feet inna studio, holographic center imaging, avoidance of distortion (or intentional dist.) , true perceived loudness, density and how tall a song sits, tall not just wide.. tall… the kind of converters… all that and more means a lot more to me than overpushed sterilizing smiley curve faced EQs on a mixbus and the god particle doing that one thing the great JJ likes + an ozone instance with its 10 modules of versatility… anyway am I preserving the emotional artistic intention of the song with every piece of processing or adding onto it in a way that tells the story deeply or am I just being an engineer for hire who’s ready to shit out loud mixes through a template (I rather quit than ever treat my career like just a job), we all have a choice to be above average. Sometimes the conditions I’m met with as a Mix engineer aren’t the greatest, two track instrumentals, different bit rate settings on different files for the most odd reasons, mono tracks in stereo etc. clipped vocals, notes that take months to get back… but regardless I educate, I make the most of what I’m given and move forward and try again, and again, and again, no matter who gives up on me my decisions will stand the test of time because at every conversation at every parameter, we (the artist and producer and I) cared together; Entirely and people feel that wholly. So if you’re still here, thank you for all the opportunity and kindness extended to me God bless everyone.
