For me it was an honor anytime Walt joined our table, it was a double honor when he drew portraits of us.

This Sunday night at 7 til 9pm a respectful honoring of a true local hero of art.

We’ve got the big table booked at @cafestellaroasters this Sunday night for a few hours, everyone is welcome if you’d like to doodle with me and remember @wallytorta #757artists

Another amazing IgNite at the @chryslermuseum! Glass After Dark at the Perry Glass Studio sparked so much joy, thanks to the curator of happiness herself, @heidijoy_! It was amazing seeing the artists at work whether it was glass blowing, face painting, @_dkane live painting, @predominantlylove on the sound bowls, or @mangom0chi next to her new cotton candy sculpture! We got to participate in the art installations such as the mushroom lite brites, sit down and doodle with @artbyjulimck, or make your own leather keychain! We enjoyed nostalgic foods like the Crunchwrap from @moontide.va and the ice cream truck. And of course, the dance floor was the place to be with @fakeuzumi on the decks and @billymercury & @tha.fellaz grooving together 🎶 Nights at the museum in Norfolk will always be the move 😌♥️

The last @artistsblock757 ever was a success! So many friends and new faces came by to support/say hello, orginal artworks found their forever homes and we got to party spooky style one more time! 👻✨

Artist’s Block was my first purely visual art market that I vended when I moved to Virginia and was hugely responsible for my introduction into the visual arts community in Hampton Roads. I remember listening to Jeff tell me about why he started hosting artist’s block and that’s when he said something that’s stuck with me since - “if you see a need for something in your community- make it happen” . This pop-up was all about community and I will always be grateful for being able to be a part of it. Thank you for including me in this event and I look forward to seeing what else you do for the creativity in this area with others and in your own work @mirth_inkorporated

To what’s next! 🦇

Originals that did not sell will be posted for sale soon!
