How blessed are we to be the hands and feet of Jesus? This past month, we got to send some of our own LCC fam out to the Dominican Republic with our ministry partners @25projectorg …we cannot wait to go back and see what all God will do by then! The Dominican Republic mission trip is wrapping up soon but it’s not too late to partner in prayer for them! Let’s pray that God would be glorified and magnified through them in the eyes of the precious kids and families they are ministering to! Pray for the strength at the end of a long week to finish well! Pray for the @25projectorg on the ground to have lots of follow up and discipleship opportunities and for the parents of the kids who trusted Christ! And pray for rest and a safe return for the entire team! 🙏

We are so proud of and especially encouraged by our younger team members leading worship, teaching Bible stories and loving on the kids who attended the camp!

Be praying for the Dominican Republic mission team! We are praying specifically for Mark and Jack Melton as they lead and teach Bible study lessons today, that the Lord would use them to make the Gospel as beautiful and glorious as it can be in the eyes of the kid who are attending the VBS camp there.

Thank you so much @25projectorg for allowing me to be apart of this AMAZING experience!

I’m so thankful God let me serve, love, and learn from these beautiful children! To be able to witness Gods unconditional love this week was truly unreal and these kids will always hold a special place in my heart. The Lord is doing good things all over the world and i’m glad I got to experience it in the Dominican, i’m grateful for every connection, every conversation, and every reminder that true joy is found in Him alone. Praying the seeds watered and planted this week continue to grow for His glory❤️

In AWE of this week!!!

What a reminder of our Heavenly Father’s love for us! The same God who has protected his people throughout the Bible is the same God who is with each and every one of these kids, and the same God who is with each and every one of us! And he sure makes his presence known!! Thank you @25projectorg for everything!!

Wow. I can honestly say that this week I encountered a joy I didn’t know existed. A joy that trusts in the lord and overflows despite circumstances or outcomes. The way that these beautiful kids love and live is simply unexplainable. I am so grateful for this opportunity where I got to see a glimpse of how the Father holds us. He is moving in the Dominican Republic and He is not done. Being able to sit with the kids and hear the things they encounter made my heart heavy. But also empowered because of how capable the Lord is to make a way where we see none. I’m beyond thankful for His grace and jealous love that was displayed so beautifully in every moment of this trip.

thank you Jesus for another beautiful year with these kids. Getting to be able to come back and continue my relationships with these sweet souls is something I will forever be grateful for. Thank you Jesus. there’s no words to describe the joy that they have. I pray that coming home, I’ll be able to bring their joy with me.

Thank you so much @25projectorg for giving me the opportunity to go to the DR and serve the Lord.

After tearing my ACL last May and missing the trip, I was heartbroken and didn’t understand why God was asking me to wait. Looking back now, I truly believe He was preparing my heart and strengthening my faith. What felt like a setback was actually part of His plan.

This past week was such a blessing. I am so grateful for the people I met, the memories made, and the ways I saw God move. I learned so much from the kids we spent time with. Their joy, kindness, and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on me. This trip is something I will cherish forever, and I am so thankful for everything God taught me through this experience. 🤍
