Peakfest was an absolute blast. Between checking out amazing and talented local vendors, trying the most amazing local bakeries and sweet treats, running into old (and new) friends, and spending the entire day with my best friend by my side? I couldn’t have asked for a better Saturday.

I tagged all of the vendors I could, some aren’t on Instagram, but if I missed someone please let me know and I will add them!! Everyone this year was so kind; I love hearing the history and the love that came into creating all of these businesses. A ton we met for the first time this year; a few we connected with last year!! I’m so excited for the night markets and other vendor festivals planned for this year and you can bet your ass I’m already planning and saving for next year!

Last picture is not from the adventures of Peakfest, but from exploring Downtown Apex last week before the crazy. We went to @cotton_wood_cottage_nc and got the most delicious honey I’ve ever had, as well as Java Chip Cake Mix (which was devoured in 24 hours…maybe less, @adventuresinbloom which is just the cutest store I’ve ever stepped foot in to. They offer permanent jewelery that Dylan and I both got and, very simply put, we’re obsessed. The nicest people on planet earth, and our absolute favorite coffee shop @commongrounds_apex. Dylan’s favorite sentence in restaurants/bars/coffee shops is “Surprise Me”. He’s even got me doing it these days and this place never disappoints.

I included this picture mainly because I love it. This man is always down for my spontaneous outings, insane home decor ideas, or even just the simplest of nights when work has taken too much out of the both of us. I’m so proud of him and so insanely grateful to get to walk beside him every day and hear the words, “I love you” from what is probably my favorite voice on this planet. I may be a bit biased though. You’re my second favorite Dylan, baby. I fucking love you 💌

It’s been a while instagram….Excited to be back 🤭😉

A few book + mug combos that make us swoon 😍

As we continue to settle into our cozy lil space, we’ll slowly add more used books and handmade pieces to our shelves so you can find the perfect pair for *you*.

What genres would you most like to see?

When you buy an awesome hand sculpture at Oddville and your best friend Christina’s lil ghostie sculpture fits so perfectly inside of it. ❤️

Obviously today’s weather is not ideal for our Holiday market…we are hoping you will continue to support local by shopping online from vendors.

We will be posting a list of our vendors online stores so you can find the perfect gift & have it shipped to your door!

We wish you all the best during this Holiday season & thank you for shopping, eating, drinking & listening local…it really does make a difference! ❤️🎁🌏

August's market was in support of a great cause and you all really showed up! We were able to donate so many healthy meals to NourishNC and in turn feed so many deserving kids in our community. Our generous makers allowed us to hold an amazing raffle with so many incredible handmade prizes and we couldn't be more grateful to them and to you!

THANK YOU!

What other local organizations would you like to see us support?
