While we don’t think our model SHOULD be unique in the industry, it is.

We believe our clients should be able to select the right workout for them on a given day based on their goals and how they are feeling.

Whether it is strength, cardio, HIIT, or flow; whether you need modifications and alternatives to movements, we aim to serve your needs.

We also know it’s important for clients to have guidance and coaching from our trainers as well as benefit from being in community with others.

When we say phrases like
“We meet you where you’re at”
And
“Individualized programming”

We really mean it 😉

Cardio, Doubt, and Courage.

One of the biggest non-physical benefits we can glean from workouts is their ability to build resiliency.

Doubt and fear are normal and healthy emotions that can arise in anticipation of a workout. For some, this might simply relate to ‘showing up,’ while for others, it might be in preparation for a workout they know will be uncomfortable and require significant effort.

Regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, these emotions WILL arise, and they are not only normal, but critical. The ability to acknowledge them, and step forward with courage, is where the real value lies.

So what’s cardio got to do with it?

Well, for anyone looking for a SAFE way to dip their toe into doing something uncomfortable and training this resiliency/ courage, a Cardio workout is the perfect way to start.

We program these conditioning workouts once a week and have a vault of wonderful tests that will challenge you. Curious? Let us help you explore!

This footage is from 10 seconds after finishing our “BROSKI” test. I have done this workout several times and knew the pain involved. I entered it with some fear, and a lot of courage. I left with a ton of pride and more resiliency than when I started.

It’s easy to skip the gym on Monday morning after a big weekend.

While the industry tells you to toughen up and push through, that might be the worst advice…

Turns out… overriding your system and state are not good for your body or your relationship to fitness.

The result? Risk of injury or a drop off in motivation.

Instead, what if there was a workout that met you where you’re at? One that got you moving and built some energy for the day and week versus depleting you more?

At HF, our format and methodology encourage you to pick a workout that suits YOUR needs instead of writing off the gym completely for the day or forcing yourself to over exert.

We build healthy behavior at the gym, not resentment.

As a coach/ trainer/ gym owner, I don’t have some secret exercises or proprietary formula that casts a spell of success on my clients.

While I do have a solid 25 years of fitness and knowledge of the body coupled with an understanding of the human terrain, it is people like @debbiecoury5 who do the work that cultivate results for themselves.

Often the work is not sexy, it’s simple but hard, and it requires patience and consistency. When clients show up with WILLINGNESS and trust the process, they allow their own abilities and agency to shine through.

I have many moments where I wonder if I am actually making a difference for people and I question my impact, so thank you Deb for your sharing that my role in your journey was so positive! 🙏❤️

Starting at a gym can be terrifying and overwhelming especially when it’s a new experience as an adult.

Working with clients like Deb has been a privilege. We start with consistency, gradually increasing the difficulty to build confidence and elicit CHANGE!

Grateful for the commitment and trust from members who see this process through resulting in physical and mental benefits.

Mental toughness starts in your mind but it’s proven by your actions!

You can say all the right things, but if your life doesn’t back up your words, they mean nothing. And those very same words will shape the mindset you have!

Don’t just be a hearer. Be a DOER that carries the mind of Christ! 💯🔥

The Lord never said I had to sound good! 😭😂 But one thing I will do is PRAISE and WORSHIP Jesus Christ—the Son of the living God! 🙌🏿🔥

People like to ask me, “Why?”
But the real question is… WHY NOT?!

He’s been too faithful.
He’s carried me through too much.
He’s shown up too many times for me to be quiet!

Jesus is the God who sees me. And as long as I have breath in my body, you’re going to see me giving Him all the glory — even when it doesn’t look good, even when it doesn’t sound good! 😂🙌🏿

I wasn’t called to perform. I was called to praise.

HALLELUJAH 🔥🙏🏿

“Strength is boring.”

Maybe it feels boring because strength asks you to do something our world makes increasingly difficult:

Pay attention.
Stay focused.
Slow down.
Repeat.
Be consistent.
Tune in.

There’s nothing flashy to chase.

Just you, your body, the work, and the ability to stay present long enough to get better.

In a world constantly demanding our attention, maybe that’s not boring.

Maybe it’s exactly what we need.

Dear Summer! Part 1: A photo dump.

Some games mean more than the final score. 🏈💚

I’ve been blessed to be ushered into this DJ game by two dope DJs—but even more importantly, two incredible men who took the time to mentor me, pour into me, and help shape the DJ I’ve become. There’s no better way to show gratitude than to honor the people who helped you get here.

Jets vs. Giants at MetLife has always been one of my favorite games of the year. Two New York teams, one stadium, one city—and whether I’m hosting or we’re technically the visitors, the energy is always different.

But this year was different.

This was the family game.

For the first time, all three of my sons got to experience Dad at MetLife in real time. My wife was there. My father-in-law. My brothers, my sisters, my bros, my mentors. The people who have been part of the journey were in the building together.

Yeah, it was preseason. But for me, this one counted.

People sometimes ask me what my biggest flex is.

It’s not the stadium.
It’s not the credential.
It’s not being behind the decks.

My biggest flex is being able to honor the brothers who helped me get here and letting my sons see what can happen when you stay faithful to the journey.

Family. Brotherhood. Gratitude. Legacy.

That’s the flex. 💚🏈🎧

For those new to the page—I’m LD Harris. A husband. A father of four. A son. And most importantly, a servant of God.

For years, I trained to go pro in football because I thought the game was my purpose. But God didn’t give me the platform I planned for—He gave me the purpose I was created for.

TO SERVE.

To serve my wife.
To lead my children.
To pour into every person who walks through the doors of Holy Hustle.

I’ve endured storms that should’ve broken me, but God used every one of them to rebuild me. I’m living proof that your past doesn’t disqualify you, and your struggle doesn’t have the final word.

So put that big ol’ Kool-Aid smile on! Embrace the people who love you. Accept the challenges from the people doing life with you.

Your transformation was never meant to happen alone. It’s a testimony of who God is—and what only HE can do!

If God transformed me, why not you? 🔥

Sports has the power to change the world and I live this daily. We swim for others, each year. From the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty each stroke represented a committment to something bigger than ourselves.

NYC SEAL Swim this year. Same WHY- For my Dad that served in Vietnam and died from Agent Orange. My grandfather also served in the Navy.

For the past 7 years, have showed up to swim, honoring those we lost in serving our Country, support my friends, of whom now have become brothers in this world. We all need support.

It brings me joy to help them with their next phase/transiton of life to get the support they needs or help place them in jobs. Or flat out just bring awareness. This year, Beyond The Brotherhood helped sponsor and put on this event with the founder William Brown. This organization is focused on helping veterans by mentoring, community, leadership development. Support means more than saying “thank you”.

Action: Encourage everyone to lead with intention and serve others. Life is about action and helping others.

Thank you BURNELL BRANCH capturing these raw moments of people that attended with their BIG heart.
