Storytelling has lots of hype these days but let us break down how we actually use florals to bring stories to life.

One of the reasons I began to dabble with floral design was to exist in a more soft, calm, and quiet space, one filled with beauty and rhythm. I wanted to feel energized by my surroundings and challenge my creative potential.

So, I created Flora MiLou. When I think about peace, joy, beauty, and harmony, I think of soft shades of pinks, lavenders, buttery yellows, whites, and even chartreuse greens.

Turns out, according to color symbolism, lavender evokes feelings of serenity/creativity, blush represents gentleness/softness, yellow transpires warmth/joy, and whites symbolize peace.

So together, these colors tell our story: a floral studio rooted in connection, inspired by nature, and devoted to bringing more peace, joy, and beauty into the world.

And this was my starting point for this intentional rebrand shoot.

Because garden-inspired floral designs are only part of what we create. It’s how they make people feel that matters most to us.

Falling in love with cozy autumn vibes and forever love! 💍 🍂

Audrey and Austin are officially tied, and every single moment was pure magic. There is truly nothing better than crisp air, stunning autumn foliage, and celebrating the sweetest couple as they tie the knot. Cheers to the new Mr. And Mrs. 🥂
