Every day I’m seeing new modes of failure. The cars are taking longer and longer to repair because of obscure things like what we’re seeing here. So it’s not that I’ve forgotten about you, and it’s not that I don’t want to work on your car, it’s just that stuff like this takes longer and longer to diagnose and repair and there are only so many hours in the day that we can work.

Luckily I have a vast store of old parts, so the wait time for a new squirter is 1min versus a day or two, but the fact remains that these old cars aren’t getting any younger, the new parts aren’t on the level they need to be to repair the old cars properly, and there are fewer and fewer mechanics (not “techs”) who are capable of actually fixing these things properly.

Always appreciate @lufteknic’s sensitivity when reviving these old cars. This old 356 racer is a master class in their balance of restoring, preserving, and making it uniquely theirs. 🫡 This car was debuted and raced at Rennsport Reunion VII.

This is a rare bird indeed! Over the last 3 months I have worked with a client to procure this particular 2003 996 GT3 RS Competition from England! The 2003 GT3 RS was the last of the Porsche top tier 911s for competition(FIA/ACO) to be equipped with a 6 speed(h-pattern) manual transmission. This example was never raced professionally and is in exceptional condition.

Once it arrived from England it was delivered directly to @TPCRacing for full safety updates(seat/belts/fire suppression/fuel cell bladder), fabrication of an inconel exhaust system(to mimic the original) and proper servicing so that it can be run as intended next driving season.

For the 2003 Model Year only 20 of these were produced. During the 2003 Season a GT3 RS Competition won OVERALL at the 24 Hours of Daytona(@theracersgroup ), had a class win at Le Mans(@alexjobraci ) and a 3rd place at Le Mans with @orbit_racing , who I hope will chime in on their experience and these amazing cars!

Sweet Aubergine 1973 911S first start went swimmingly. Looking forward to putting it on the dyno for break-in and tuning. This is a pretty old school build - @mahlegroup 2.2S pistons, mod-S camshafts, @cpcarrillo_ connecting rods, @aascoms scalloped flywheel, and OEM ultra lightweight Sachs pressure plate (they don't make 'em like they used to) - but it's snappy as heck with a sharp BRAP from the MFI. There is no school like the Old School.
