I wasn’t in the mood to celebrate my birthday this year. No particular reason why. But then I remembered who I am. Linda and Ronald’s daughter. The woman from a family where birthdays were a huge deal. The woman who finds magic in the extraordinary and the mundane. Who knows a lot can change in a year. Who loves the time she gets to spend with her people. These are the lessons loss teaches you. I’m thankful for that quiet whisper from God that reminded me that we don’t skip birthdays around here! It’s a late thank you, but I appreciate everyone who reached out, showed up, and showed me love. 💛 #taurusseason #taurusgang ♉️

Really haven’t given last week’s celebration enough ♥️ — thank you to friends near and far who made turning 38 so sweet. I’ve always loved really, really hard and this era of friendships feels better than any I’ve ever experienced. This real, genuine, authentic, grounding, elevated, mature nature of these connections, most over a decade old — is the “standard of care” I’d want for everyone I know. Reciprocal.

I pray that love like this meets you and when it does, you open your arms and receive it all.

Thank you for making my life so RICH. (And I hate that I missed capturing a few of the beautiful faces that were present!!!)

Big FOUR ZERO to my first bully😊. My big sissy, my other mommy🥺. My everything fr. The one who crushes my knuckles when i’m being annoying. The same person who tells me everything is going to be alright when i’m sad. My cool sister who travels the world when she wants and still manages to be the most present auntie to my baby. I love you so much words cannot describe. I hope the next 60 years are even better than the last 40. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 (last slide: here damn y’all happy😒)
