Introducing a weekend of marvelous mixed fermentation fabulousness.

3F are celebrating what would be the 75th anniversary of their founder, Armand, this weekend and are releasing a special 7 year 9ld Lambic as tribute, along with releasing loads of bottles from years gone by.

We thought this would be an excellent opportunity to celebrate all things mixed fermentation across three venues in Preston. Each venue will have a different 3F on draught, as well as kegs from other breweries such as Tilquin, Mills, and Holy Goat, as well as a huge range of bottles available, too.

Lambic lovers - this weekend is for you ♥️

We kregen o.a. fantastische (hybride) bieren/blends van Antidoot, Lambiek Fabriek, Pellicle Vergistingen, Cantillon, ...

On Monday, October 26th, we’ll be opening our doors for a special bar service at 5pm. We’re collaborating with our friends from @3fonteinen , @limeventuresimports , @csadistributing & @sambusakskitchen to celebrate what would have been the 75th birthday of Armand Debelder, the late owner of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen.

3 Fonteinen packaged a near 7-year-old lambic from a special foeder with the portraits of Armand and his father, Gaston, carved on it. The foeder was commissioned back in 2019 as a gift for Armand’s 68th birthday. Armand was already very ill at the time, but was there for the filling of the foeder, and sadly this was the very last time he was present in the brewery and barrel room.

Our good buddies from @sambusakskitchen will be doing a pop-up service in the trailer, featuring their acclaimed falafel & pita at 6pm. We will hold an informal toast to Armand around 8pm. We hope to see some of you old heads. 🥂🥂🥂

@3fonteinen Armand & Gaston Vintage 2020 - Oude Geuze at 7.4%

This is shaping up to be quite lovely, a decent carbonation, moderate acidity showing green and red apples. Its on the milder side still, but I sense some evolution om the funk, complexity and depth. Tasty.

3 Fonteinen
A Tribute to Armand

October 26th 2026 would have been the 75th Birthday of 3 Fonteinen founder Armand Debelder.

The brewery would like to invite you to celebrate his life in the best way possible, by raising a glass of lambic among friends.

To make this moment extra special, they have released ‘A Tribute to Armand’ a 7 year old lambic, matured in the Foeder beautifully engraved with an image of Armand and his father Gaston found on display in their barrel room

We’ll be joining forces with the brilliant Axis in Gateshead’s Railway Quarter, both pouring the special release with extra 3 Fonteinen treats available at both bars.

Yes it’s a Monday. This would have been Armand’s actual birthday so the brewery have organised events all across Europe to raise a glass
The beers will be pouring from opening at both venues.

Keep your eyes peeled for full beer lists soon.

The Raise the Bar Festival set a high bar! 🙌 It was a quick to Aarhus, but great fun was had. The brewery lineup was fantastic, and the historical location (Ridehuset) was a perfect spot for a beer fest. Aarhus is such an easy and fun town to visit.
