In the morning I watched Connor and the friends that are the building blocks of our community set up the floral arrangements my mother in law and I made, in the vases my sister hand-made just for our wedding. I got ready in a lace robe my friends found at a thrift store for me. I watched my childhood best friend help my mom with her makeup. Sam - one of our most cherished shared friendships & fiancé to my best friend - officiated us. I walked down the aisle to a song I heard almost 10 years ago and knew the first time I heard it that I’d be walking towards Connor. We curated a giant dinner party with all our best people - we laughed and cried and shared stories. I felt so incredibly present all day because of all the people that helped make our vision come to life. The day was a perfect encapsulation of the love we share with each other and the love we feel from our community - our relationship couldn’t be what it is without either.

Forever my high school sweetheart - I love you Connor 🌟❤️
