POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My heart is still so full from yesterday. 🤍🥹

I’ve been trying to find the right words to express how grateful I am, but honestly, words don’t feel like enough.

Yesterday’s exhibition opening was deeply personal for me. The Weight She Carries holds so much of my heart, my emotions, and the stories I’ve felt compelled to tell through my art. Sharing something so personal with the world takes courage, and having so many of you show up for me made the moment more beautiful than I could have imagined.

To every single person who came yesterday, please know that your presence meant more to me than you may ever realise. Every hug, every kind word, every conversation, every photograph, every moment you spent standing in front of my paintings — I noticed, and I will carry those memories with me. You didn’t just come to see my work; you showed up for me, and that means everything.

To those who have encouraged me, believed in my talent, supported my journey, and reminded me to keep going, even when the road hasn’t been easy, thank you for seeing something in me and continuing to believe in it. Sometimes, we don’t realise how much our support means to someone until we witness a moment like this.

There is something incredibly vulnerable about putting pieces of yourself into your work and allowing others to see them. Yesterday, surrounded by your love and support, I felt seen, encouraged, and reminded that this journey is worth it.

I wish I could thank each of you individually and tell you exactly what your presence meant to me. Please know that none of it went unnoticed, and none of it is taken for granted.

From the deepest part of my heart, thank you for making yesterday a memory I will treasure for a very long time. Thank you for celebrating me, for embracing my work, and for being part of this special chapter of my life.

I may be the one who created The Weight She Carries, but yesterday, you reminded me that I don’t have to carry the weight of this journey alone. And for that, I am beyond grateful. ❤️thank you 4elements for giving me this opportunity.

With all my love,
Nyamuoch Nguoth 🎨

Gettin to be the final bunch of shows this year, and since everyone has been so nice to each other we decided to throw a nice little mixed bill pre-show at the end of November before the toy drive; we even have a new space in Utica to do it at down near the brewery!

we got Piknik stopping by on their tour, Inconvenience Store coming through from Massachusetts, the return of Overtired, and our local guys in Calling Hours to open it up!

it'll cost ya $10 to get in and see a great lil lineup, that $10 comes with earplugs and sippin from the good ol water bucket. come see the space and have a little fun ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Some stories are too heavy to put into words, so I paint them. 🎨🤎

Every layer holds a feeling. Every detail tells a story. And every painting brings me one step closer to sharing my world with you.

As I prepare for my first solo exhibition, The Weight She Carries, I’m inviting you into the journey behind the work.

Now tell me… 👀 What’s the first thing you notice about this painting?

I’m super excited (and a little nervous!) to finally be hosting a FREE papermaking workshop at 4 Elements Studio!

Just like my upcoming Paper Garden exhibition, this has been over a year in the making. What started as a personal challenge to learn something new has grown into something I now get to share with others. And that’s probably the most exciting part of it all.

I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, meeting some new people, and spending a couple of hours making paper together!

Tuesday, October 20th | 5–7 PM
4 Elements Studio

The workshop is completely FREE, beginner friendly, and open to all ages! All materials will be provided.

Space is limited to just 10 participants, so be sure to register! Participants 12 and under must be registered with an adult.

Whether you’re curious about papermaking or just want to come hang out and make something, I’d love to see you there.

Link in BIO!!!

Let’s make some paper!

THE WEIGHT SHE CARRIES
Coming October 23

30 DAYS. 🤎

For the past few months, I’ve been creating a body of work that has challenged me, moved me, and made me think deeply about the women around me—and the things we are expected to carry.

Today, I can finally say it:

THE WEIGHT SHE CARRIES
My first solo exhibition.
October 23, 2026.

This isn’t just an exhibition announcement.

Over the next 30 days, I’m taking you into the studio with me.

You’ll see the paintings before they’re finished.
You’ll hear the stories behind them.
You’ll see the mistakes, the changes, the doubts, and the moments that make creating worth it.

And I want you to be part of it.

So let me ask you:

What is one thing you think women are expected to carry silently? Tell me in the comments. 🤎

I’ll end here, for now.

Last but certainly not least, Tony, Tony, Tony.
Need I say more?

That’s not a real question. I’ll always say more. 🫠

A few portraits of Tony - a pottery, drawing, and painting instructor at @4elementsstudio.

He’s a thread woven into this art community, and if you don’t know him, well, that’s just wild.

Tony told me this summer that he’d rather spend one of the hottest days of the year carving an art project than go on vacation. And that stuck with me.

I think that tells you everything you need to know about his commitment to the arts.

Another @4elementsstudio star coming your way… ✨

A few portraits of my pal Dave - a pottery, painting, and drawing instructor at 4 Elements.

@dropdeaddave_ is a man who loves his insects, his wife, and his daughter. Not necessarily in that order. Talented as all get out, and working on some really cool things. 👀

He’s often behind the camera over yonder creating content for social media, but I was able to get him on this side too.

Stay tuned! 📷

We’ve got the momentum, another @4elementsstudio gem here.✨

A few portraits of my girl, Andrea Rose Vedder, Art Services Administrator & Instructor at 4 Elements.

She is beauty, she is grace, she always has me laughing. A flower you definitely want around. 🌸

I have @andrea_rose_vedder to thank for my organic introduction to 4 Elements and I’m forever grateful. 🙌🏻📷✨
