With great pleasure we officially announce the selected artists for the Incinque Jewels 2026 Award, a contest within Rome Jewelry Week, which will take place from October 8 to 11 at the Corsie Sistine in Rome. Luo Tingyan As a contemporary‐jewellery maker, she moves beyond filigree’s decorative function and employ hand‐wrought silver filigree to shape tangible physical boundaries. Her practices explores how discarded industrial materials gain renewed aesthetic value within precious‐metal works. Combining post‐industrial recycled materials with fine handcraft, this project focuses on visible physical traces of recycled glass, enclosing its post‐industrial material memory within hand‐built silver structures through cross‐media dialogue on boundary and space. @557ttttttt @incinqueopenartmonti @romajewelryweek #roma #incinquejewels #romajewelryweek #jewels

Bringing together furniture, forged metal, glass, and sound, this selection explores how artists translate invisible forces—time, energy, and emotion—into tangible experience. Image 1-5 @sofia.venetucci Blending industrial felt and metal, Sofia Venetucci designs sculptural furniture whose tactile surfaces echo the quiet strength and rhythm of natural armour. Image 6-10 @tianye_an Tianye An’s forging practice unfolds slowly, with each impact leaving behind a subtle imprint of thought, time, and presence. Image 11-15 @557ttttttt Tingyan Luo explores fragility and form through molten processes, using glass and silver to trace memory and the uncertainty of knowing. Image 16-20 @tongniu_ Tong Niu turns magnetic frequencies into immersive sound rituals, exploring resonance across nature, memory, and emotion. Seen together, these practices form a quiet constellation of touch, vibration, and transformation. We’re grateful to share them within @l_d_f_official. @klimt02_barcelona Meet Romanian Jewelry Week 2025 designers through More Than Jewelry campaign Romanian Jewelry Week has always been about people, stories and ideas. The More than jewelry campaign invites us to look beyond materials and techniques, revealing the human voice behind each creation. By asking designers to reinterpret the main visual of #ROJW2025 and share their own narrative, we discover how contemporary jewelry becomes a medium of identity, memory and transformation. This journey introduces the artists who shape the sixth edition of Romanian Jewelry Week, offering a glimpse into the diverse visions that will soon animate Bucharest. Proudly introducing the exhibiting designers part of the special 6th edition of @romanianjewelryweek ✨1 - 5th October 2025 ✨The National Library of Romania, Bucharest In focus today - @557ttttttt - UK Re-Jade is an experimental jewellery collection that reimagines the symbolic architecture of Chinese jade culture through the lens of sustainability and cultural revision. Using recycled glass and silver, the collection reconstructs traditional ceremonial forms—not to replicate, but to rethink their value through gestures of fragility, layering, and transformation. Rather than treating glass as a substitute, it becomes an intentional medium—capable of holding memory, ritual, and resistance. Each piece arises from a non-linear, intuitive process of material listening and embodied response, where trace, fracture, and touch become acts of cultural transcription. Re-Jade challenges conventional hierarchies of material and meaning, proposing a future where craft, heritage, and ecology converge in renewed harmony.

TINGYAN LUO @557ttttttt
Unearths fragility and form through molten gestures—where glass, silver, and memory thread uncertain knowledge. No One Has Taught Me This at @l_d_f_official explores how design is shaped not just by what we know — but by what we feel, remember, and imagine. From grief and migration to hacked tools and family archives, the works reveal what can’t be taught, only lived.

Glassborn (2025) by Tingyan Luo @557ttttttt Glassborn reimagines one of the most iconic materials in Chinese culture—jade—through recycled glass and silver filigree craftsmanship. Instead of relying on the rarity of natural jade, the series proposes an ethical and sustainable alternative that speaks to contemporary concerns around material responsibility and cultural reinvention. The formal language of these pieces draws inspiration from historical jade artifacts such as jade belt hooks and jade burial suits, once used to symbolize power, status, and spiritual protection. These cultural symbols are not merely referenced but deconstructed and regenerated—creating a new visual grammar rooted in transparency, fragility, and transformation. The contrast between the delicacy of glass and the solemnity of traditional jade invites new emotional and aesthetic interpretations. Silver filigree does more than encase the glass—it becomes a woven language of memory, linking ancestral ritual with contemporary material practice. Each piece explores a renewed expression of value: not one built on material opulence, but on symbolic meaning, cultural memory, and sustainable ethics. In Glassborn, recycled materials are not a compromise, but a conscious cultural response—a continuous act of redefinition bridging heritage and the future. #jewellery #jade #glass #traditional #contemporary #handmade #chinesejewellery #jadejewellery #centralsaintmartins #ual

OOO Exhibition 🗓 15 – 18 July 2025 🎉 Private View: 15 July, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM 📍 Alsolike Gallery 16 Chance Street, London E2 7JB Participating Artist Tingyan Luo This series resists the notion of material as a vessel for human intention. Made from recycled glass and reclaimed silver, the pieces reconstruct archetypal jade forms—such as gold-threaded burial suits and belt hooks—not to commemorate or symbolize, but simply to exist. Fractures, cooling marks, and self-forming structures are preserved and even emphasized, allowing the object to emerge through its own agency. Filigree does not decorate, but negotiates balance. Fragility is not disguised—it asserts presence. These works are not created for adornment. They reject functionality and meaning as imposed by the human gaze, instead echoing their own histories, energy, and logic. They do not speak to us; they resonate in the spaces where interpretation fails.
