Photographic Art Workshop with Chris Dark and Chris Saunders.

Update! We have decided to add an extra session to the workshop at no additional cost. Why? Because we want you to have the best opportunity to create quality photographic art! The extra session will be held at the Bunker Gallery, 5 Coolgardie Tce Perth preceding the evening shoot on the 13th March. Full workshop details below.

About this Event
Have you ever wanted to discover new techniques and get an insight into how Perth photographic artists Chris Dark and Chris Saunders create their images?

Both Chris’s are holding a workshop on the 13th and 14th of March 2021 to coincide with their collaborative exhibition "Infinite Coast" now showing in the Bunker Gallery Perth. The Chris's are multi award winning accredited professional photographers with the AIPP, with Chris Saunders winning the Australian Professional Photographer of the Year in 2018.

The workshop includes an afternoon technique session and an evening shoot on the13th, and a morning shoot and editing session on the 14th. Both shoots will be down at City Beach or a surrounding area and the technique and editing sessions will be held at Team Digital's Bunker Gallery.

The workshop will provide the opportunity to have the guidance of both Chris's, two of Western Australia's most talented photographic artists at both shoots as well as the editing session. The artists will help you edit one of your photos from the shoot and print an A3+ print of your image.

All you will need is yourself, your camera, filters (we suggest a clear UV filter), a laptop + your own transport.

The artists are pleased to be able to offer this service for $195.

∞ Infinite COAST Artist Talk
The Bunker Gallery (Team Digital)
5 Coolgardie Tce Perth
25 Feb 2021 6-7pm

We'll be talking through some of the images in the exhibition and our experiences making the pictures. It's sure to be an entertaining hour (or maybe not 😀). There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get to know both Chris's.

Please excuse the long post! But I beg you to continue reading and possibly have this image in return for your donation to the Salvos Australian fire disaster appeal.

I am sitting here listening to the news and the thought of glorifying my year with my top nine images makes me feel ill when so many peoples year has ended and started horrendously

I am offering my 2019 highly commended @australianphotographyawards image and 2018 @aipp_official APPA gold award print for sale and 100% of the funds from the sale will go directly to the @salvosau disaster appeal

It’s simple $150 will get you the award print, 30x27cm (there is only one of these) All you have to do is be the first person to comment sold on this post, once I have contacted you via DM,
Go to the salvos disaster appeal web page and pay the money directly to the salvos, send me your receipt and I will post the print to you

If you don’t want to buy the print, the link is in my bio for all those who want to donate some money anyway

I don’t know how to console those who have lost everything, but I hope everyone will support those helping the RFS, CFA, families who have lost loved ones, suffered injuries and lost homes, businesses, livestock, pets and injured wildlife.
I encourage my fellow artist and photographer friends to follow suit

Squiggly straight lines on this incredibly flat salt pan. An amazing sight to see these lines disappear onto the horizon. Another missing piece from “Head East and Turn Right” #capturexsplash
