When I was younger, I used to dream of working at the CBC. In high school and university, I wrote several papers about the importance of a public broadcaster in supporting, representing and serving the needs of Canadian society. That dream is still alive, but I’m lucky to have worked alongside with them in varying points of my career in media and PR. Engaging and connecting the broader community through hosting the Asian Alliance Market this Asian Heritage Month, demonstrates their commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices, inclusion, and meaningful representations of our cultural diversity in Canada, serving the diverse audiences that make up our country by encouraging dialogue, cultural exchanges and greater visibility on a larger scale. We also could not have done it without support from our Black and Jewish allies. Thank you @cbctoronto and @the.welcome.market for allowing people to support local, small, and Asian-owned businesses 💫 . . . . . . . #toronto #torontocookies #torontocookie #torontodesserts #torontodessert #6ixfoods #6ixtreats #aapi #shoplocaltoronto #torontobaker #torontofood #cookies #instafood #instacookie #tofoodfeed #torontofoodies #gtabaker #torontoeats #torontoblogs #6ixeats #yyzeats #torontodelivery #torontogift #smallbusinesstoronto #torontolife #desserts #torontoevent #torontomarkets #aapiheritagemonth #asianownedbusiness

May 19th is Devil’s Food Cake Day! 😈🍫🍰 My Ovaltine cake cups layered with malted buttercream and cookie crumbs were the perfect balance to such a rich, dense, chocolatey cake. Grateful for all the support this month during #AsianHeritageMonth kicking off with @the.welcome.market! Thank you SO SO much for selling out quicker than I ever thought; the jumbo, chunky cookies have been a hit! It was such a great time seeing new and returning customers, thank you for coming near and far to visit and support! I am so incredibly lucky to be part of such an inclusive and welcoming community. My Ovaltine malted cakes will be back in cakesicle form (like a cakepop but bigger) just in time for the warmer weather. Come visit me at my upcoming popup markets for this new treat and the current lineup, that you can see in this video! 🍪 Due to popular demand, preorders will available at ALL upcoming markets! Plus, get a bonus cookie for every preorder.
