Making new friends and seeing old ones that's what my 4 @hangernews Empowerfest that I have been to have been all about. So with this 4th one of mine in San Jose California I can say mission complete! Every time I go to Empowerfest, seeing these folks and the hope of getting to see them at the next one keeps me going! The regret of not taking pictures with everyone has set in, though. So many amazing people that I missed 😔. 9/10/26 through 9/13/26 As a last word, you know we had to get a hike in!

EmpowerFest2026! In my hometown y'all. Our prosthetic company "Hanger" showered all us amputees this weekend with love and support and a chance to connect with our community from all over the world. We laughed, cried, shared stories, made new friendships, talked about equipment we use, life's challenges and the lives we live and how to keep prospering! ETC....... Trust me I'm leaving things out. There just SO much to say and tell you! Hanger cares for it's patients and we all felt it and will never forget it. I don't know where to start. We had the best time being together as one. I'm thankful for the friendships I made and all the knowledge and confidence I'm taking with me and can't wait to do this again. THANK YOU to all my supporters and help to make this happen. I'm forever grateful 🙏 Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Just getting started with #ChampionSchools34 📚🎉

We’ve officially kicked off Opening Ceremonies with @kengarff4good at 5 of the 7 school districts participating in our pilot program: Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Logan, Vernal and Roosevelt!

We’re one step closer to inspiring Utah’s next generation through the power of sport, and we’re just getting started.

Nibley Elementary School students in @cacheschooldistrict learned about the Champion Schools 34 program and why reading is so important. They were also inspired by a visit from Paralympian Matthew Brewer (@6packbrew) and Olympian @chrislillis1, who shared how reading, hard work and simply showing up helped them become champions in their own lives! 🏆📚

To celebrate, students wore red, yellow, green, blue and black shirts and joined together on the field to form the Olympic rings! 🔴🟡🟢🔵⚫ @utah2034

Our Sage is at it again! On Thursday she was able to meet with @abbypalmercox to discuss @sebcmutah and their mission to get insurances to cover prosthetics. From the moment we learned about her nub, we knew she would be a force in this world.
And how lucky is she to have met such amazing people! @6packbrew @noahjamesbury @strideswithjeff @sydney.j.p @e.r.i.n.v.e.o.r.a @karissaglover and everyone else, thank you for reminding her just how capable she is!

Summer is for cross training and supporting adaptive sports 🏊🏼 🏃‍♀️ 🚲

Enjoying the southern Cali weather and community this weekend.

Thank you @angelcitysports for continuing to build a space for adaptive athletes to compete and get exposure to new sports through clinics. Angel City is one of @6packbrew ‘s foundational experiences that built the man and athlete he is today. ACS taught him leadership and gave him training to embrace his impactful story of resilience and grit for public speaking.

Building community, growing self confidence, and trying new sports is EVERYTHiNG to athletes that find barriers to entering sport. Thank you to these angles in LA 🪽

Had the opportunity to connect with First Lady of Utah @abbypalmercox and @sebcmutah at the Governor’s Mansion to discuss prosthetic access legislation. The goal is to make sport specific adaptive equipment mandatory for insurance providers. I am so proud to be involved with a case like this as I understand the true financial burden that is being an amputee. People deserve to get outside and experience life on equal terms! #getoutandmove
