Huge one incoming!
Slide through for DJ DISSOLVE's artist statement about his third residency night of 2026. See you in the swirl...

More about Erika:

Erika dreams on the cellular level, or perhaps of transdimensional intelligences moving through strange patterns on celestial objects, working towards a mysterious goal. Her connection to the dreamworld becomes concrete in her approach to music, simultaneously so solid and yet so ethereal. Erika still finds time to accomplish many things in her waking hours, such as being a member of Ectomorph and Circle of Live, co-conspirator of Detroit's Interdimensional Transmissions record label, DJing and making music with her pet machines. Her freeform streaming radio station erika.net was one of the very first iTunes presets, running 24x7 for 17 years from 1999 to 2016. Prior to that, Erika was very involved in WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, as a freeform and jazz DJ, and Program Director.
The daughter of a famed scientist and already running a well known BBS from her bedroom by the time she was 13, Erika is no stranger to expressing her ideas through technology. In 1997 she was handed a TR-606 and asked to join Ectomorph, and has since become an electronic musician of the highest order, focusing on analog synthesis, with live hardware sequencing that allows transformation over time and a deep depth of tone.

Adapting to change was the grand theme of this year’s Canyon Vibration, and we’re so proud of the work and community building behind it.

Special thanks to everyone who pivoted with us to the new location and brought canyon magic to the orchard, to the artists who delivered incredible performances despite ever-changing logistics, and to our production crew who shaped the event from the moment they set foot on the new site.

Thank you @starmooringfarm and the Richmond family for trusting us with a much larger gathering than they’ve ever held on their idyllic property.

Thank you to all firefighters protecting Tygh Valley, our home site and the surrounding communities from the Grasshopper Fire.

Thank you @whitebirdclinic, @giantlife and our phenomenal security team for keeping our attendees and staff safe and healthy in so many ways.

@silpher led sound and transportation logistics, doing the hard-hard work of setting up and tearing down sound systems multiple times a day.

@savannahniven, our production lead, adapted and led with grace through constant change.

@robotlegs, our operations lead, ran entry logistics, gate volunteers, comms and a zillion other details.

@thenoblerobot and @alt.angeles lit up one of our area’s greatest trees, and @hasmood lit the way through the labyrinth-like orchard.

@dizzydylanpdx managed the orchard stage, drawing on 5 years of Canyon Vibration experience.

@spencr provided and troubleshot sound, handled Tornado’s hospitality, rocked the orchard till sunrise and, of course, co-founded @canyonvibration and the Occasion Vibration events that preceded it.

Graey, @carrot_bowl_bonnie and @danoinmotion_ kept us loose with yoga and exercise classes.

@glittergoblin curated a wonderful daytime beading workshop and brings joy everywhere.

@eg_83, @collectingbruises and @sof_hunny kept us dripped out in canyon merch and presented key info in style.

Lastly, thank you to the former partners who laid the groundwork for this event and team: @leeonntechno, @spencerrussell and @dj_menage_love.

More from us soon.

@canyonvibration was so good! The cards really were stacked against the crew this year, but against all odds the production team pulled off a safe and incredibly fun event 🌀 I had the best time, and couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to camp out in a beautiful hazelnut orchard for an intimate weekend of music with dear friends. Much love to everyone who made this happen ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so excited to gather with you all for the second installment of my residency night where I have the pleasure of welcoming Patrice Scott, Gazin, and Aaron Davis for a night of deep grooves.

I was looking through my youtube history and saw that I first heard my first Patrice Scott Track “Movin In” in September of 2021 (definitely listen if you haven’t heard it), and at that point I had never played in a club and was still really in the early phases of developing my taste as a DJ. Fast forward to 2026, Patrice’s deep and sensual sound still resonates as deeply as it did for me the first time I heard him.

If this is your first time learning about him, I’m including a few of my favorite records:

The Detroit Upright EP - Sistrum Recordings (2016)
Powder Fresh - Second Hand Records (2018)
Reborn Goodness - Sounds Of The City (2018)
Solitude - Sistrum Recordings (2025)

As for Aaron Davis and Gazin, they are two absolutely wonderful human beings who also happen to be absolute turntable maestros and I’m so excited to bring them both under a single roof.

As always thank you to the Process team for believing in my vision of cultivating the dancefloor as a place of community healing and for providing me with the support to realize this vision. And of course, my continual gratitude goes out to all those reading this and and who plan to attend or have attended in the past, you are what makes these gatherings so special.

I look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!

More about Patrice Scott:

Patrice Scott’s roots in the Detroit music scene go a long way back. At the age of just 11 he lived down the road from early DJ group Direct Drive and it was at these block parties that Scott decided that this is what he wanted to do.

Patrice’s music reflects much of the rich sound palette of deep house and techno from the 1990’s but combines this with a sense of constant innovation which depends less on trends and fashions and more on Scott’s own passion for seeking out an otherworldliness in music.
