Porsche Carrera GT is one of the most iconic and analogue supercars ever produced by Porsche. The production version was unveiled to the public at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, following the Carrera GT concept’s debut at the Paris Motor Show in September 2000. Production began in 2003 and continued until May 2006, with just 1,270 examples hand-built in Leipzig, Germany.

This Carrera GT looks absolutely stunning in Silver Metallic, giving the car a very elegant but aggressive appearance. Its low, wide stance, teardrop-shaped headlights, exposed carbon-fibre elements and enormous side air intakes make it instantly recognizable. The body and monocoque are constructed largely from carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic, while the aerodynamic package includes a functional diffuser and an automatically deploying rear wing.

The car also features the signature five-spoke forged wheels with yellow Porsche ceramic brake calipers, emphasizing its motorsport DNA. The removable carbon-fibre roof panels can be stored in the front luggage compartment.

Inside, the Carrera GT is wonderfully minimalist and driver-focused. This particular example features a black interior with silver/metallic trim, exposed carbon-fibre elements and the iconic high-mounted wooden gear knob. The steering wheel, analogue gauges and simple center console give the cockpit a very traditional, mechanical feeling.

The lightweight seats incorporate carbon-fibre/Kevlar construction, while the high-mounted gear lever was deliberately positioned close to the steering wheel—an unmistakable nod to Porsche’s racing heritage.

Behind the driver sits one of the greatest engines Porsche has ever built: a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V10, originally derived from Porsche’s motorsport development.

It produces 612 HP at 8,000 rpm and 590 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm, with a redline approaching 8,900 rpm. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox with a ceramic clutch.
