Oh, 2020 what a wild ride you’ve been.
It would be so easy to dwell on the things that went wrong this year. But all I could see when I went through the past 12 months in my photos was laughter and joy. We don’t usually take pictures of the hard days, and I think there’s a good reason for that.
I watched two of my favorite humans get married before the world went crazy.
I climbed a mountain in Utah with my little sister, even though I wanted to quit halfway up.
I played games at a speak easy in Idaho with one of my best friends and loved on her perfect miracle babies.
I strolled through Arizona with my long distance bestie and talked about how cool her life is now.
I had the 2 most amazing girls living in my home when the world shut down who kept me (almost) sane.
I spent more time laughing with my boy this year than I have in a long time; he’s almost as funny as I am.
Old friendships have been nurtured and new friendships have been poured into, including so many amazing people that I don’t have pictures with... yet.
I even got a cat and I don’t even really like cats.
But this year, I’ve grown closer to God than I ever thought I could be. I have felt His love and grace poured out on my life in abundance. The world is being shaken, but God is strong and steadfast no matter what.
In 2021, my goal is to love myself and others the way that He loves me and them. Without conditions and even when it sucks.
Happy New Years Eve, y’all!

Happy 26th Birthday to this beautiful human being that I call my bestie. She is the biggest pain in my ass and I'm sure I am the same to her but she's MY pain in the ass and I wouldnt have it any other way. Cheers to 12 years of friendship through the highest highs and the lowest lows and over coming obstacles, staying by eachothers side at all times... My rock, my ground, my family, my bestfriend. @kirrrrstennn i couldn't be happier to have you in my life! I love you!! Happy Birthday! 😊❤
