See, you let the cool kids talk you into taking your sights off your gun and heavily rely on the dot. But when that dot goes out, you don’t have anything to default to.

you are out on that stage not being shot back at. That’s a great thing. But who are you talking to? You’re talking to someone letting them know that your dot is not working. I don’t hear anybody out there helping you. You’re out there alone. Way out in that combat zone. Who’s gonna bring you home? You better leave them sites on that gun and you better. Make sure that they are able to be used when that dot goes out. You’re gonna listen. one way or Another.

So grateful for all the awesome people who made this place feel like home! Thank you to everyone who crossed my path and hope I’ve left a piece of myself in your life as you did mine. You’ve helped me grow in ways I never expected. Tucson and AZ will forever hold a special place in my heart! 🫶

Key Takeaways for Carrying in a Dress

1) Start with the right holster system, then choose your dress silhouette and fabric with concealment in mind.
2) Gun placement should fit your body. Lower placement generally works well for dresses, but your shape may call for something slightly different. Experiment to find what works.
3) Access is the biggest challenge when carrying in a dress. Practice your drawing technique until you're confident in it before relying on it.

I’m certainly no James Bond..but we both have a P99 🕵🏻‍♂️

Walther P99 1st Gen for #waltherwednesday hitting some bill drills.

These were certainly ahead of their time at inception, the striker fired, DA/SA, firing mechanism is ultra cool - would’ve been neat to see a more wide spread adoption of it.

Happy Wednesday folks 🤙🏻

Clearing a Mini Dress
Bunch the fabric at the base with your weak hand and lift it over your dominant shoulder to expose the grip.

Clearing a Midi or Maxi Dress
One-handed works the same way — bunch and lift to your dominant shoulder, adding a knee pop to bring the hem closer if needed. If the fabric is longer or flowier and folds inward one-handed, use both hands to bunch and lift, then release with your dominant hand once clear so you can grip the gun.

Tip
Keep your hands close to your body as you lift so the fabric travels freely up your back — holding them out front tightens the fabric against your back and makes it harder to clear.
