There’s a lot that goes into making something feel effortless. It's even better when you see it right in front of your eyes.

The lighting.
The cameras.
The conversations.
The people behind the scenes making sure everything keeps moving.

I got to experience all of it at the CTRL+ALT+BEAT season finale, and it reminded me why I love paying attention to the details behind the work.
So I wrote about it.

“It's All In The Details” — now live on Substack.

I tried a likkle something different with this one too - recorded the article in my own voice for anyone who wants to press play and experience the story that way.

Read it. Listen to it. Let me know what you think, link in my bio 🙏🏿

Keep up the solid work @ctrlaltbeatt 🤞🏿

Episode 3 of CTRL + ALT + BEAT came through with bold conversations, electric energy, and a team making serious moves behind the scenes. ✨

Produced and run by an all-female and gender-expansive team, the live talk show is creating space for culture, creativity, community, and the conversations that matter most.

The electrifying host @chelsi_campbell held the room’s attention with a captivating conversation with the ever-talented Akintoye, who then took the stage with an explosive performance that left me wanting more!

CTRL + ALT + BEAT…

Whew.

I’m still trying to find the words because “good” doesn’t even begin to cover what I experienced.

The vision. The execution. The care. Every single detail felt intentional.

Every person behind this all-womxn and gender-expansive production should be so incredibly proud. Y’all didn’t just create a talk show—you created a space. A space that invites people to slow down, reflect, laugh, heal and leave carrying something they didn’t have when they walked in.

I can’t tell you how many times I leaned over to bae just to whisper, “Wow.”

It honestly felt like church… but for life. So many moments that left me thinking, feeling reassured, feeling seen and reminding me that we’re all just trying to figure this thing out together.

And a huge shoutout to Akintoye. What a beautiful human. That conversation was so honest, vulnerable and incredibly moving, and the performance that followed was just as powerful. Safe to say you’ve got a new fan. 🖤

Episode 003 was truly something special, and I’m honoured to have been part of it—getting to connect with the audience while my day one, Indica, worked her magic behind the lens.

If you’ve been wondering where to put your support when people say, “Support your local creatives,” let this be your sign.

CTRL + ALT +BEAT isn’t just creating content. They’re creating culture, community and conversations that matter.

Interviews + full recap coming soon. 🎥✨

The city moves differently when we move together 🌃💫 Community creates opportunities, opens doors, and turns local talent into something the world can’t ignore.

Support isn’t just appreciated. It’s how culture is built.

Froboii pulled up to 4DS and left his mark.

This time he jumped on a Larry June beat and made it look effortless, bringing smooth flows, confidence, and bars from start to finish.

One thing is becoming clear: Froboii is building a serious freestyle résumé. Every time he steps in front of a mic, he delivers.

What do you rate this one? 🎤⬇️
