“Where are your bees?” This was one of the most asked questions from the event.

Greene Manor is our home but also a registered apiary, in a quiet Philadelphia neighborhood. Tucked among mature trees and neighboring parks, we have been filling our garden with fruit trees and flowers chosen with the bees in mind.

It is a slow project, and one I hope to keep building for years.

An evening among friends, neighbors, and new faces. Our first honey tasting of the season, hosted at Laurel Hill Gardens.

It rained for a little but did not stop us from having a wonderful turn out. Curiosity is the best company a beekeeper can keep. Even though I have so much more to learn, I know a bit more that the most know about bees and loved answering all the questions about the bees, the honey and the apiary.

Thank you to everyone who came, tasted, and asked. More gatherings to come.
