Top Secret and Friends 🥁

I’m so fortunate to be part of something so special that only happens once in a blue moon. After taking a break from teaching/drumming, I didn’t know when I’d get the chance to perform again. Being able to drum with old friends, as well as people I’ve never met means so much to me. I love y’all

First time in Europe. First time in an RCC uniform. First time playing RCC warmups and show music. It was such an unreal experience and a moment I’ll never forget

Super grateful to everyone I met on this trip, and hopefully we’ll see each other again soon! 💙🇨🇭

Better late than never.

I aged out (more than) a few weeks ago. 7 years ago I picked up the clarinet and joined my high school marching band. I had a great time, and in my senior year decided to try out indoor percussion. Several years and several groups later, to have aged out with the Blue Devils and RCC front ensembles would have been a pipe dream to sophomore year me.

The lessons I’ve learned and friends I’ve made at RCC will last a lifetime. Through the ups and downs, the members and staff of RCC make every moment worth it. There’s no other place I would’ve loved more to call home.

Special thanks to RCCFE 26, for making my age out so fun and for placing their trust in me. Scores and medals are cool, but y’all are cooler 😎.

On to the next chapter!

thought it was about time to make this post lol. i never could’ve imagined the journey i would take by being in rcc these past four years, and i am grateful for every second of it. rcc was the very first group i remember watching live, so getting to age out here with my best friends, my favorite show, and my favorite season is such a special feeling and opportunity.

thank you to my friends and everyone who has supported me over the years, and a very big thank you to this staff for guiding me over the years and trusting me to lead this group :)

also, special shoutout to the snareline for being the absolute greatest to be around every day. this season wouldnt have been nearly as fun if not for the 9 of us, and i couldnt have asked for a better line to age out with :)

Thank you, RCC 2026.

From not thinking I’d amount to anything, to growing as a performer and chasing/achieving my dreams, I want to say thank you to everyone and to RCC. I’m currently in spring training, but this post was worthy of my free time. I was taught so much from the staff and the people I marched with here, and I can’t help but be happy I fully committed all of my energy, my passion, into creating the music career I’m in today. Short but sweet, thank you all, and I’m so utterly grateful for being given this opportunity of a lifetime. 🐯🫶 see y’all next year.
