We tried the tempura soba and tempura curry soba, both were so good.

Also the name is a nod to jazz legend Albert Ayler. 🎶

Sound was meticulous, each artist was a pleasure to experience. Specially wanna say how my mind melted during Akuma no Numa ( @kohki_nishimura @compuma_km and Awano). I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything like that on a dance floor wheewww 🛸 And one of the nights there were femme after femme in the indoor stage and holy goddess so freakin goood @muusamo_ @djmew_djmew @naomyan610 . I don’t have many videos because I was having so much funnnn!!

Made so many friends, so many beautiful connections. Thanks Universe for these great moments of life 🧿🌼

Authentic vegan soba by @__ayler__ 🤯 we tried the curry and the clear cold broth (August special only!) both seasoned well and paired nicely with the crisp veg tempura and yuba. What a unique experience! Worth the long travel from Uedo to Shimokitazawa 💯

Did some digging recently and found out that my family is from the Kumamoto prefecture of Kyushu Island. Maybe that's why every time I come back here this place feels more and more like home. Thankful to be able to immerse myself into my culture, experience this beautiful country, and meet some great people along the way. There's so much more to this life than the small little bubble we live in.

בחו״ל אני אוכלת במסעדות טבעוניות, מטעמי כשרות. לפני כ 26 שנים כשגרתי ביפן היתה אולי מסעדה אחת טבעונית בטוקיו, היום כבר יש לי רשימה ארוכה, שבדקתי של מסעדות שהן טבעוניות לגמרי (לא כאילו שגם מגישות מנה טבעונית) .
הפעם הגעתי למסעדה בשכונת Shimokitazawa, אחת השכונות הטרנדיות עכשו בטוקיו, ושם במרחק הליכה של כמה דקות ממרכז השכונה, בלב שכונת המגורים, מצאתי מסעדה מקסימה וטעימה במיוחד עם התמחות בסובה קרה.
האוכל טעים מאוד (ממליצה על המנה של הסובה הקרה), מוזיקת ג׳ז מגניבה ובעלים שהוא גם השף שמסביר בסבלנות ובמקצועיות על המטבח והמנה.
