“Racer, what do you do for a living?”

I’m in the people business.

Year 2.

Another summer in the books with ProForce, and I can honestly say this year changed me in ways I couldn’t have understood when I started.

When I first stepped into this business, I thought sales was about knocking doors, getting told “no,” and figuring out how to get to the next yes.

I was wrong.

Sales taught me discipline.
It taught me resilience.
It taught me how to bet on myself when nobody else could see the vision.
And most importantly, it taught me what it means to lead.

This year wasn’t just about my own numbers. It was about becoming the kind of leader who can bring the best out of the people around him. Watching guys who started the summer as strangers turn into brothers, watching reps have breakthroughs, watching people do things they didn’t think they were capable of, that’s what makes this worth it.

Being part of the Dawg Pound means something to me.

It’s bigger than sales. It’s the early mornings, the long days, the bad days where you still show up, the ridiculous amount of doors, the conversations in the truck, the wins we celebrate together, and the moments where you have to dig deeper because quitting would be easier.

There were days where everything clicked.

There were days where absolutely nothing went our way.

But the standard never changed.

Show up.
Work.
Get better.
Take care of your people.
And never let yesterday dictate what you do today.

I’m proud of the second year, but I’m even more proud of the person and leader this business has forced me to become.

I’m grateful for every customer who trusted me, every rep who allowed me to lead them, every teammate who pushed me, and every person who played a part in this chapter.

Two years down.

The vision is bigger.
The standards are higher.
The pack is stronger.

And if Year 2 taught me anything, it’s that we’re only getting started.

Dawg Pound to the moon.

On to Year 3.
