Pure talent meets pure heart. 🖤 Had the honor of catching up with the legendary @mugzymcfly at his Bronx studio for a quick, impromptu interview. From dressing stars and shutting down fashion shows to pouring back into the Bronx youth, this is what a true NYC legend looks like. Humble, kind, and dropping gems. But what makes Mugzy truly special isn’t just that celebrities wear his clothes—it’s how hard he goes for his community, hosting events and uplifting the next generation of youth. True definition of success with a purpose. What’s your favorite piece? Check out his website for more!

#NewSundayNewBalance: Plot + Market + Execute + Collaborate + Mediate + Brand + Scale = @thevibeafter5dmv DC is on every map that has ever existed‼️ That is part of the privilege—and part of the problem. We come from a place so culturally productive that sometimes we confuse being influential with being economically powerful. DC has given us language, music, fashion, hospitality, politics, taste, movement and attitude. We have educated generations about what is possible. And yet, too often, we have converted all of that influence into jobs. Not ownership. Not equity. Not commercial real estate. Jobs. DC gave me an extraordinary education, network, identity, reputation and laboratory. It taught me how to read a room, build a room, work a room and, when necessary, turn the room into something else. But I have outgrown the economic model through which we have traditionally tried to monetize those things. What’s next? For me, increasingly, the answer is collaboration. That is why working with @thunderboyzpro and alongside @djdreason, @djgracious and @earonjp —is such a privilege. Known. Present. Intense. Sure. Steady. Alive. Moving. Intentional. Testing. Obsessive. Attentive. Assertive. True. EXTRA AF‼️ Word to @extrapulpglobal‼️ There is a difference between saying “I like that” and asking “How can I learn to do that?” A difference between imitation and apprenticeship. Between competition and contribution. I’ve learned not to be offended by imitation. My superpower is spinning that block. Because the proof is rarely in the idea. The proof is in the execution. And execution requires a funnel. A market. A brand. A place. Commercial real estate. A reason for people to return. A system capable of turning culture into capital without stripping the culture of its soul. Culturally influential is not the same as economically powerful. So yes, sometimes I believe we have to go elsewhere. Not because DC has nothing left to give. Because we have something left to give elsewhere. The laboratory was never supposed to be the final product. The proof is in the pulp. Love, BLOWE #YouCanDoItTooCocktails #ArtDrivesStatehood #WisWinWar #xpulp
