Rock solid start to the Apex Wears it Pink week. Obviously with it being spooky season had to start with a horror themed workout. Last night was the Exorcist, a simple 5 minute AMRAP that didn't feel very simple... 😂.

If you was there, you know. If you wasn't, standby for the next workout as they get more intense as we go 👀.

Solid work and another new face for the Junior class.

Come along, have some fun, work hard and hold yourself to a high standard. You won't regret it.

Smashing it these juniors! The best thing you can do for your children is to enroll them in a combat sport or martial arts class.

The changes and progress I see in them each session is amazing.

Some more new faces in the juniors squad.

This week the juniors are learning about Dutch Kickboxing.

These are all an absolute pleasure to teach and are improving each week in not only striking, but also in helping each other and just being all round great humans.

Back in tonight for more of the same 5-6pm down at the Dojo!

When parents first bring their child to martial arts, they might be thinking about fitness, confidence, self-defence or simply finding them a new hobby.

But over time, they often start noticing the smaller things.

They listen a little better.

They become more comfortable trying difficult things.

They learn how to lose, improve and try again.

They become fitter, more coordinated and more confident in themselves.

They make friends.

They work towards something.

And gradually, martial arts becomes much more than an activity they attend once or twice a week.

At Apex Fighting Academy, we want to develop capable martial artists — but we also want to help develop confident, respectful and resilient young people.

Another brilliant session for the juniors on Monday. Back in tonight to continue to grow their skill set.

Progressing each lesson this crew.

If you want your child to grow in confidence whilst developing coordination, learning new skills and using their imagination, then drop me a message or bring them down to one of our junior classes.

When you see the development in them in all aspects of life, you'll wish you did it sooner.
