Kay is a woman of many styles and even more speed. As a creative, she uses her hair as the ultimate canvas. But in a city known for its "filters," Kay is keeping it 100% real.

Being "as natural as it gets" means her routine has to keep up with her pace.

Is LA ready for this much authenticity?

2025 was truly a year of new experiences and growth, taking the good with the hard. After surviving a car accident that totaled my previous car, I entered the year in a 2025 Mercedes Benz, reminded that even after the hardest moments, new beginnings can be beautiful.

This year brought so many moments I am grateful for, from winning my first pageant and later having the honor of handing my crown to the next queen, to honing my craft as an actress, all while continuing to prioritize my career and academics, becoming ABD in my doctoral program, and having my research accepted for publication. I was also blessed to attend and celebrate excellence at events like the NAACP Awards, iHeart, and the Emmys, surrounded by so much talent and inspiration. It reminded me that you can absolutely do it all when you believe, have faith, and find balance while putting in the work.

I absolutely loved celebrating love and union, witnessing my friends win, and being present for such beautiful milestones and unforgettable moments together. One of my favorite highlights was taking my grandma to the BET Awards for the first time.

God moved tremendously in my life throughout 2025. There were difficult days and moments of uncertainty, but I am so thankful to still be here, walking in faith and purpose through it all.

I am stepping into 2026 with gratitude, expectation, and a heart ready for everything God is preparing next. I know it will be a beautiful year and I am claiming it.

Happy New Year’s Eve and Happy New Year in advance family and friends 🩷
