Spending Thanksgiving 2023 in Savannah, GA with loved ones was even more wonderful than we imagined.

The history, the vibe, and most importantly the TREES were on another level. Truly magical.

Grateful for another beautiful day in Ventura with all the amazing people who make @awalkonwater happen. The families and athletes we celebrate, the surf therapists who get to ride shotgun all day 🤙 the tireless water safety crew swimming like fish, beach safety keeping an eye on everything, warm hearted chaperones, wetsuit and first aid teams, music and art therapists, volunteers serving food, handling registration, flags, setting up boards and tents and the list goes on! The Grom Squad!!! They are our future and we are in great hands 🙌 Local businesses supporting and the community cheering on the good times. We love you all. Big thanks and see you at Malibu November 11th for our season finale! 🙏

Yesterday was a big day for me. I taught for the first time in 2.5 years since loosing my sister. Teaching yoga means so much to me and for the first time in a very long time I had the strength to do it.

To the beautiful Women that joined me yesterday, thank you so much for sharing space with me. We giggled, we got emotional, we let our bodies flow and move. We were present with ourselves and we were present in each others company, it was really, really special.

Yesterday at the end of class there was a moment of pure magic where I closed my eyes and my sister wrapped around me. I know she’s proud of me. I will teach in her honor, always!

I will be teaching on a regular basis at my home moving forward. If you’re local and want to join me, please message me. I would be honored to share space with you!

Introducing her to @awalkonwater a few years ago changed my relationship to the incredible opportunity of helping others and having the best time together. She inspires us with big smiles and support to the organization, athletes, families and other volunteers, by showing up to do whatever she can, attracting other friends to do likewise, bringing compassion and ultimately building confidence with the kids and creating special relationships each event that live on beyond the beach 🤙

Shared a beautiful weekend @awalkonwater HB with so many special people. Saturday began by celebrating @therealdesi 🙏 His dedication and love for the families and volunteers is #AWOW.
Having the opportunity to help @lisabarrettmcguire coordinate many moving parts, thanks to support from sponsors like @paulmitchell and generous donations by @eatnorthside @peetscoffee @banzaibowls @rominechiropractic @athleticbrewing and hundreds of people who tirelessly show up and make magic happen with smiles is a privilege. Thanks @stevenlippman @dollywooddollywood @markowari @agsgets @nikdans and every surf therapist, beach and water safety, grom, vision, first aid, food and fun person who came. Everyone wins at these gatherings and the ripple effect is felt near and far 🤟
