I started @__onfriday as a place for women to gather for one hour every week, on Friday, to circle up and rest-in and just “be” together. One hour to not “do” anything, rather just lean back and receive wisdom and stories from other women. The varied voices of women who speak weave their messages and stories through our monthly theme (currently: Empathy) and give us something to reflect on each week as it relates to our lives and our work. We meet virtually so it feels easeful to attend from wherever you are. Every time I come off our weekly virtual live gathering I feel I’ve been offered a new way to think about something, or my perspective or vision has been expanded in some way. It always feels so good to be opened up…together. In celebration of #internationalwomensday we are hosting ✨a special gathering✨ all are invited, free. Usually it’s $18/month. Our topic is Self Empathy. How can we tune inwards and be guided from our inner care towards ourselves, and to learn to lead ourselves and others from this place. “The Posture of Self Empathy — Leading Inwardly and Outwardly” our special guest speaker is ✨ @elenabrower ✨ a teacher, mentor and friend of mine and returning guest to On Friday. J O Y … is who you share it with … What a joy to be on the West Coast with @__onfriday last week — with women in Vancouver and Los Angeles! This is indeed #womenelevatingwomen … with JOY. Join in the weekly virtual gathering with the incredible roster of speakers On Friday brings together for women. Last week, we learned about reimagining success, and we created a “Wants List” with @erika.r.royal. It was the first in the “Impact” themed series of speakers, after weeks of “Courage”. Women who gather. We’re better together. What fun to celebrate @__onfriday in Prince Edward County at @theroyalhotelpicton. This was the third celebration for On Friday over the last several weeks. We started in Toronto in early October, then did it again in Portland. Vancouver and LA—you’re next! (RSVP to join us there.) More about On Friday “A virtual weekly gathering place for women who are self-led, impact-driven and anchored in the value of women elevating women. We curate expert speakers who share their experience, wisdom and resources to help navigate work and life. Sometimes, we meet IRL.” For the IRL part of it, there is a lunch series in PEC, Toronto and Vancouver. 4 dates a year — all set in advance, at top local restaurants. Check the On Friday link in bio, to learn more and join. It’s USD $18/month for the virtual subscription. Advice and tips from today’s speaker alone, Kate Ross LeBlanc—co-founder of Saje Wellness—was worth that and more. The private portal is already stacked with replays from other incredible speakers, under the first theme of Courage. Names like Elena Brower, Jane Bolin, Kirstine Stewart and Jenny Feterovich. On Friday, November 22, the theme switches to Impact. Suffice to say, joining On Friday could be the most Impact-ful end-of-year upgrade to your life and business before 2024 closes out.
