POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is the bag that I wore as part of A Haunting. You can see the details if you squint; green ribbon, purple melted fabric, floral beads, plastic roses and a watermelon keychain, lovingly crocheted by BEA. On a hot December day I had a good friend who was willing to push me through the rally in an old, rusty hospital wheelchair. I had expected to see BEA that day and they had promised me a my very own watermelon! Our paths didn't cross that day and I don't remember if we didn't see each other till June or if we were in the same spaces but just forgot... All I know is that it took till June 2024 for BEA to finally gift me my watermelon keychain, and it went straight onto the bag because that's where it needed to be !!!

Someone is always showing up to something sick, and I am always catching their cold (cough/flu/fever/RSV/covid/sick/sick/sick). The reality of this hits me every single winter, this winter rolled around and not much has changed. I've been knocked down with another fun virus this week, so here I am, complaining on the internet. This is a moment from 'A Haunting', performed at the OurVerse Music and Movement event, June 2024. Bianca Joanne Willoughby helped me mix a soundscape, the Pari team did their thing, OurVerse crew theirs, and everything else fell into place. I've seen pictures AND videos of me aggressively distributing masks through the crowd - I didn't post them last June and for some reason they remain elusive now. I share this instead.

Thank you @__ourverse__ for giving me the opportunity to showcase my creative artwork for the AntiUtopia Art Exhibition. It was a magnificent moment worth remembering. This gave me the option to shine as a digital designer and progress towards my creative goals.

One of the best parts of adolescence is finding those pockets of free time to spend glittering and chattering under bar lights, sipping on happy hour margaritas. But as my social circle expanded and life became less forgiving than Sunday morning work hangovers, I started to reflect on how we seek community and connection—and how these spaces accommodate those who are sober or heading in that direction. Naturally, I had a few questions to ask, and here are some of the answers I received.
