HOME AWAY FROM HOME ⛪️❤️‍🔥

Grateful for an amazing two weeks in London on the @alphaaustralia Leadership Tour with pastors, leaders and friends from around Australia and the world 🌍 Every session was outstanding, with so many takeaways and powerful times of prayer ministry. Huge shoutout to @ben_higgins_ & @emilyhiggins - so much is being sown across the globe through your leadership of this tour. Thank you! 👏

It was so good to be with our @saint.church family across the weekend and share a little about what God is doing at @neighbourhood.au. We are so grateful to @algordon.co and Liv for their leadership, encouragement and friendship. 🙌

We are heading home encouraged and stirred that the Church is in stunning days. I haven’t quite seen a level of unity like I have these past two weeks — young people across denominations coming together to pray and to low, Catholic priests praying for Anglican bishops, Baptists praying Come Holy Spirit over Pentecostal friends. The tide of unity in the Church is rising, and that can only be a good thing because when the body is unified, the head (Jesus) is gloried — and when Jesus is glorified, His Kingdom comes. Amen!! More, Lord 🙏

Such a joy to be on this adventure with @claregageler. Thankful for amazing parents to enable us to travel and love our kids so well ❤️

Some say “I feel like God failed me.”

Not because of God - because of a pastor. Because of a church that wasn’t what it claimed to be. Because of trauma that happened in a place that was supposed to be safe.

And now they can’t go back. Can’t open a Bible. Can’t pray. Tried 3 times and got hurt every time.

Here’s the question I asked @__sammythompson :

If you fall down 3 times - do you give up walking forever?

The church hurt you. That’s real. That’s valid.

But don’t let someone else’s failure become the reason you abandon something that was never theirs to take from you.
