I look at this little girl and wonder how anyone could ever be unkind to her. 🥹 But the reality is, one day someone might be. Someone might laugh at the way she talks, the way she walks, or the way she looks. Someone might exclude her simply because she’s different. And as her mama, that thought breaks my heart. I know I can’t protect Andie from every unkind person she’ll encounter, but I CAN do my part to raise a generation that chooses kindness instead. ❤️ That’s why I wrote Larry the Hairy Dinosaur! Not just for children who are different, but for the children who will grow up alongside them. If one child reads this book and chooses inclusion over exclusion, or kindness over cruelty, then this little book has already done something BIG. I may not be able to change the whole world for my daughter, but I’ll spend my life trying to change the little pieces of it that I can. And maybe Hairy Larry will help me do just that. 🥹❤️ #downsyndromeawarenessmonth #downsyndrome #specialneedsfamily #theluckyfew

This one might ruffle some feathers, but I’ve had some big thoughts & opinions lately… In the clean beauty industry, we have been programmed to believe that the term “synthetic” is a bad word. But when used thoughtfully and carefully, certain synthetic ingredients can become synonymous with SAFETY. Clean skincare doesn’t have to mean 100% natural. One of the biggest misconceptions in skincare is that natural ingredients are ALWAYS better and synthetic ingredients are something to avoid. The truth? Skin doesn’t distinguish between an ingredient’s marketing story and its chemistry. What matters is how an ingredient functions, how well it has been studied, its safety at the concentration used, and how it works within the finished formula. Thoughtfully selected synthetics can help skincare remain stable, protect against contamination, improve texture, and deliver consistent results. We want all of that without the toxic load and it’s not only possible, it’s available! For me, clean skincare is about choosing ingredients with intention—not eliminating an entire category of ingredients simply because of how they’re made. It’s not about natural versus synthetic. It’s about formulation, safety, and performance. One example of this is salicylic acid which can support gentle exfoliation and has antimicrobial properties which keeps the product from growing yeast and mold. We certainly don’t want to be rubbing those into our skin everyday! There’s also the aspect of natural and botanical ingredients causing allergic reactions in sensitive skin types. Just because an ingredient comes from nature doesn’t mean it will be benign for everyone. Even something as simple as lavender can cause irritation issues so it’s important to patch test for sensitivity no matter what you choose to put on your skin. Atmosphera’s brand goal is to help people and the planet flourish and to that end they are working to create the safest and most effective formulations for our skin that will first do no harm and second deliver a beautiful nurturing experience to your skincare routine. 💚

If you’ve always thought that the term CLEAN BEAUTY was synonymous with “ineffective”, take a look at these before and after photos and let the results speak for themselves! By eliminating toxic hormone disrupting ingredients and adding in thoughtful reparative ingredients like vitamin C, peptides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, we can do more to rebuild the skin while respecting the systems of the entire body! Comment CLEAN to learn more about how you can achieve restorative results in your skin too💚

Busy mom hack that just changed my mornings 🙌 Someone put me on to curling my hair in PIGTAILS — you curl each one, take them out, and boom: waves in half the time 😭 As a mama who is perpetually rushing out the door, this was GENIUS and I had to share with my fellow always-running-late girlies 😂 Credit where it's due: my girl @Amber Andrews has been doing my hair for almost 20 years and keeps saving me time one hack at a time 💛 Try it and thank me later! #momhack #busymomlife #hairhack #momlifeunfiltered #charlottemoms

Sitting in car line today and feeling really thankful I was introduced to Atmosphera and how it’s changed the way I feel about myself with/without make up. How it’s changed my skin for the better, for the first time since having babies With that being said… I feel like sometimes we make skincare WAY more complicated than it needs to be. If your skin feels dry, dull, unbalanced, or you’re simply using random products and hoping they work together… let me help you. One of my favorite things about Atmosphera is helping someone find a routine that actually makes sense for their skin instead of just telling them to buy a bunch of products. And since we’re officially at the end of September, I’m doing something a little special through the 30th. If you’ve been watching my skincare posts, thinking about trying Atmosphera, or wondering what I would recommend for you… Comment or DM me SKIN and I’ll personally help you figure it out. No pressure—just skincare help. And if you decide you’re ready to order, I’ll make sure you know about my end-of-month offer before it’s gone.
