Two years ago, Vascan emerged with a singular goal in mind: to provide a platform for artists to showcase and sell their creations. However, our journey quickly revealed the intricate web of relationships between artists, galleries, and collectors within the art ecosystem.

Recognizing the pivotal role galleries play in shaping the industry landscape, we pivoted towards enhancing Vascan into a robust platform that empowers galleries with advanced operational tools and an optimized sales funnel. In 2023, we successfully onboarded numerous galleries, marking a significant step forward in our evolution.

Understanding the importance of collaboration and continuous improvement, we actively engaged with galleries to gather insights, feedback, and validation for the development of Vascan’s v2. This collaborative approach underscores our commitment to creating a platform that meets the evolving needs of our users and fosters a thriving art community.

Now, with the launch of Vascan’s v2, featuring an enhanced design and exciting new features like the private room, our vision is becoming a reality. Our journey has been a testament to the power of hard work, passion, and dedication to transforming the art community through technology.

I am immensely optimistic and excited about Vascan’s future, as we continue to leverage technology to elevate art in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.

Our childhood shapes our adulthood and words shape our reality. There’s a little window of time we have in the beginning to help shape a child’s thinking and my hope is that we become a little more intentional with it by speaking life into the ones who will one day change the world.

The purpose is simple. “On earth, as it is in heaven.” In whatever you do, make sure you bring heaven down with you.

May my words, both written and spoken continue to heal, encourage, inspire, and create impact to last a lifetime.

Anxiety: 0, Arnell: 1. If I can, so can you. 🤍🙏🏾

This Black History Month we send our strength to our global kin in Nigeria as they share their passionate voices and show up for their communities at the polls! For those among us who are Black immigrants and wishing the best for their homelands, our hearts are with yours.

Nigerian voters will cast their ballots on February 25th for the first time in eight years to elect President Muhammadu Buhari’s replacement. There are a whopping 93.4 million eligible voters and 18 candidates seeking the presidential office.

This commissioned artwork by Ayo Sunasi (@ayodoodles) describes her experience as an immigrant watching the elections take place and being separated from her homeland.

‘TEST ME’ ft. @arewapilot is out in 4 days!! Go presave with the link in my bio 🤲🏾

A lot of people have already spoken to me about the cover art and it’s by the one and only @ayodoodles ! Swipe to see my terrible sketch, before she worked her magic and created this. Thank you so much Ayo for being super amazing to work with ❤️

Now I knew what I wanted the cover art to look like, but I was lost on some of the tiny details. Ayo came clutch ofc and so did @amakaaa_o who I kept consulting because she really has the most creative mind 🥰

I’ll post some more clips later, but this beautiful song was produced, mixed and mastered by @annasisa01. I just had to go to him with my ideas and the song and he made it happen 😌 s/o to him for getting his brother @arewapilot on the song and @gbenga_himself to play the guitar as well 🙏🏾
