I've been experimenting with some off-camera flash and a purple color gel with the hummingbirds at sunset. I was definitely not expecting to capture some of my favorite photos I've ever taken.

Just goes to show that getting out of your comfort zone and thinking outside the box can give you a completely new perspective on a species you've photographed before. Get out there and use some of that free will 💙🩷

Feeling extra blessed on this 32nd rotation around the sun after a lovely vacation with some of my favorite people. Experiencing nature and an adventure with the ones I love has always been one of the things I cherish most in life.

My family has always been my number one supporter for my photography journey. From a young age, my parents have fostered my passions and encouraged my growth as an artist. Photography has given me so much in life; friendships, inspiration, the desire to explore, and some truly incredible moments. I will forever be grateful for that, and relish the opportunity to share the beauty of this world through my lens.

Back at Unique for their semi-annual camera show.
I had the pleasure of learning from some fantastic photography educators.
I attended classes with @monicasigmon and @shootwithray @jcphotomedia 📸
I learned alot and took pages of notes. We used some of your tips the next day.
Seeing your work flow and posing was very helpful. Thank you for inspiring us!

June, I loved you!!!! 🫶🏻🌿 A month that started with four-leaf clovers, ended with seeing Lord Huron live for the first time, and with many beautiful hikes, serviceberries, periodical cicadas, tadpoles, fish, milkweed blooms, cups of tea, revelations on gluten-free bread making, and hours spent smiling under the spring & summer sun with friends and family in between ☀️ 🌾
