May is almost gone, but Miles never is.
KMHD’s month-long celebration of Miles Davis’s 100th birthday comes to a close today, but not without one last stop. Bri Drennon shares her pick from the catalog: Générique, from the 1958 film score Ascenseur pour l’échafaud. ✨🎺

Meet Glitch ⚙️

Resident mechanic aboard the Rizon, Glitch has the personality of a warning label and the bedside manner of a docking collision.

Glitch can MacGyver a grav-drive from nothing but scrap metal and spite, but ask her to “be a people person” and you might find yourself on the wrong side of an airlock. She runs mostly on caf, sarcasm, Moon Mallow Puffs… and the creeping suspicion that she’s the only reason the crew hasn’t exploded.

Which, to be fair, is statistically accurate.

Meet Glitch and the rest of the crew wherever podcasts can be found! Link in bio. 🔗

Seeing KMHD DJs in real flesh always reminds me that they are also true human beings (well, duh), and hence they might be going through things like we are.
Nevertheless, they’re still out there being our emotional/mental/spiritual supports every day. And that’s beautiful.

(Okay. The sweatshirt will remain unwashed for the rest of my life.)
