Call it MAGIC, call it TRUTH…..

A tale of love…a story of best friends. Not many can intertwine personal & work lives, and these two do it like none I have ever seen.

It’s the chicken and the egg concept. Did Lexi tell Brooke to take Teacher Training with her or was it the other way around? Nonetheless, they supported each other the entire time getting their 200RYT years ago. Each individually taking their 300H separately; they still were by each other on the sidelines cheering on. Now living in different cites, teaching at different studios, each working on their careers, it’s times like this video where they get to join forces.

It’s been amazing to watch you two in action. And BP is so lucky to have you both now supporting it’s students. ❤️‍🔥

Join them in Costa Rica January 2027 for The Art of Embodiment Retreat. The name quite fitting. Perched on a cliff, this is the ultimate spa and yoga getaway. Congrats Brooke for spearheading this and Lexi who constantly shows up and gives her all.

DM us for all the details & hear about our experience when we went last year. Cue Ayurvedic food, massages, and pina coladas on repeat💁🏻‍♀️🦜🩵!

MERCH DROP 👚>> bringing back our first vintage tee, but in a new color. Bone (off-white) w/ Black BP. Orders are open from Now til FRIDAY (and shipping if you need).
Brooke is wearing a Medium for a looser fit.
Our fav way to wear it: with scissors cut for a crop, throw in washer so raw edge can roll up a bit.
DM us by Friday for Ordering Instructions.

It’s yoga that’s indie ~ really our ethos for @bodypoeticyoga. And not to say there isn’t a space for “big box” yoga, franchises, YouTube channels or brands….but that’s not who we are. We are indie.

Sure we want as many people to know about what we do because it’s our passion. But passion not trends nor follower count guides us. We post because it’s heartfelt. Poetic not popular. We teach descriptive classes even when others say hurry up. We read through every application that lands in our inbox. Have round tables how we can make our program better and how to care for each individual that comes to us. We care deeply. We create art.

We keep studying to be innovative, but we choose wisely who we study with. We’ve always been a fan of the underground teachers who speak softly and so do their students as if we are in on some big secret. We take that material and put it into our bodies, our language. We live with it. We change it. We create art.

This whole Yoga Teacher Training thing isn’t just a 2 week thing, here and gone. At least it’s not for those who don’t want it to be. It’s life.

Here’s proof… in the 2027 program, family members of our staff have enrolled. If this doesn’t show the impact of how a YTT affects your life, I don’t know what does. Whether you teach professionally or not doesn’t matter. When those closest to you see and feel it, we know that’s the point of it all.

And at dinner last night with a group of women who became yoga teachers under this same program , now travel the world and teach for it…and as we make plans to visit other Greek Islands after the program is done celebrating some personal major life events happening, we realize this little indie yoga thing is bigger than we could actually imagine.

🇬🇷 next year GREECE

Was it even a training if you didn’t get a tattoo? Was it even a training if you didn’t shed a tear? Or see a mirror in the material? Or another human being? Did it happen if you didn’t see your greatest strengths and at the very same time your biggest opportunities? Was it training if it didn’t make you feel all the feels…. Yes, all of ‘em.

And yes, she’s iconic @savannah.schilling
