THE POST SO MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE!! 🥹🖤

We are SO excited to announce that Rach is BACK and returning home to BLKOUT! 🥰

For those who don’t know, Rach has spent the past two years living life to the fullest over in London, working at some incredible gyms and continuing to grow her knowledge and experience within the fitness industry.

Before her big adventure, you wouldn’t see BLKOUT without Rach here, and we know so many of you have missed her just as much as we have!

She’s coming home with a whole new level of experience, fresh knowledge and plenty more to bring to the BLKOUT community, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the friendly face, big smile and energy you guys have always known and loved. 🖤

We couldn’t be happier to welcome her back to where it all began, and we cannot WAIT for you all to be back on the floor with her!

WELCOME HOME, RACH. WE’VE MISSED YOU! 🥹🫶🏼

Clearing out the camera roll now I’m back in London after the most rewarding 2 weeks teaching Yoga on the best fitness retreat out there with @salt.escapes 🦋

What they’re building is something really special, and I’m so happy to be a small part of it now. If you’ve seen my last video you probably know this couldn’t have come at a better to remind me of why I’m in this industry and to set a fire in my belly again to keep working hard ❤️‍🔥

Thank you to the best team @clementina.d.g @_caintrain @chefcaramay 🤠

Till next time 💃

Starting a new job this week made me realise I never properly wrote the post I wanted to write about leaving Instate 🫶🏼

I think partly because there wasn’t really a clear ending. I went on maternity leave, became a mum, Instate went through an acquisition and it felt the right time to step away.

There wasn’t really a clean ending or moment to say goodbye. So before I start sharing what comes next, this felt important.

5 years ago, exactly to the week, I started my first proper coaching shift on the D floor at Instate Cobham 🔥

I was blown away by the standard of coaching, the camaraderie and how much people genuinely cared about training well. I had no idea how much it would shape the next five years of my life.

I went from coaching to launching our London site from scratch and eventually GM across both sites.

There were member PBs, awards, Instate Games, parties, physio pop-ups, partnerships and a LOT of events.

There was Adventure Club, becoming a lululemon ambassador, our women’s health podcast, Strength in Menopause, women’s health CPDs and Strong Mums classes.

There was winning an ultra with someone who is now one of my best friends. My wedding workout. And, quite literally, my waters breaking at Instate 😂

But more than anything, there were people.

Brilliant coaches who taught me so much. Members who trusted us with their goals. Friendships that went far beyond the gym.

And I think Instate shaped how I approached becoming a mum more than I realised.

I spent years around strong women and mums who trained because they loved it and had full lives alongside motherhood. It showed me that becoming a mum didn’t have to mean losing the parts of myself I loved.

Those five years gave me confidence, opportunities, friendships and a real understanding of how powerful community can be.

This week I started somewhere completely new for the first time in five years, and I’m really excited about what comes next.

But first, this chapter deserved a proper goodbye.

To everyone I coached, worked alongside, learnt from, adventured with and became friends with, thank you.

What a five years 🤍
