26 years ago you graced this world with your presence and watching you grow into the amazing woman you are today has been the greatest joy of my life. You are strong, kind, and capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Your heart is full of compassion, and your spirit shines so brightly. I’m so proud of the person you’ve become and the dreams you continue to chase. May this year bring you even more blessings, laughter, and love. Never forget how incredibly special you are to me and everyone who knows you ♥️
We all have seasons of good birthdays and mediocre ones, no one (especially you) deserved a birthday like you had this year, where you selflessly sacrificed everything to sit patiently by my side in ICU, mustering up every ounce of faith within you for God to turn things around and praying over me and my situation like a true warrior! Your heart for Jesus inspires me and I know there’s so much more to your journey. I’m so looking forward to seeing what the next 26 years has in store. Love you so much; apologies for the delayed post……. so ridiculously proud of you, I wanted to shout it from the rooftops even though it’s late!❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday LOVE was in the air …. my question today is how much do we truly LOVE ourselves?! ♥️
In awe, once again, of this spoken word; this girl has a gift for sure …. aside from the creative ability to put this together so brilliantly, I’ve watched this beautiful human walk the painful and challenging journey to truly love herself, to find a voice for those that aren’t able to love themselves because of their imperfections, whatever they may be. I’m SO SO proud of you @_chloehale, I believe you’ve been put on this earth for such a time as this, to come alongside and speak out for those who aren’t as courageous, resilient or vulnerable and to make a huge impact in the world of disability and inclusion.
Such a masterpiece, well worth a listen ❤️

Watching a child navigate a disability, whether invisible or visible, can be emotionally challenging for a parent but when they produce something this beautiful (which I urge you to take the few minutes to watch), it evokes a myriad of different emotion…… unbelievably proud of you @_chloehale and the gift within you, not only to be able to write something so powerful but to then intertwine that with such creativity….. I’m truly in awe ….. I know your future is bright …… please don’t ever stop articulating the words and passions within you and sharing these on behalf of those that don’t feel they have a voice ❤️ #disability #empowerment #inclusion #inclusivity #invisbledisability #haveavoice #weneedtochange #speakout #proudmum #embracethegift

Stepping out and embarking on a new journey takes a huge amount of courage and even more hard work…… I’ve seen first-hand the hours of work that have been poured into this awesome adventure…… not only in the writing of the blog (which is truly a beautiful read) but also in the website creation and all the graphics…… we rarely see what it takes to launch a desire of our heart and I couldn’t be more proud of @_chloehale for sharing, so vulnerably, her beautiful heart ♥️ Please take a read, give a follow, leave an encouraging word and share in this journey with her……. I personally am so excited to see where this next season will lead……. forever proud of you Chloe and thank you for being you ♥️

Writing an Instagram caption usually takes me a few minutes to formulate some kind of well articulated or analytical set of phrases.

But not this caption.

I’ve had the privilege to work alongside these two amazing souls over this past year. Learning, leading, growing and character building. And I’m so thankful that God placed us together, at the time that he did; in and amongst a whole global pandemic.

We for sure grew together as brothers and sisters of Christ, and well I’ll say this.

Don’t underestimate young people.
Don’t underestimate God and the coffee chats you can have.
Don’t underestimate mentors or counsellors or leaders who can correct, lead and guide you.
Don’t underestimate your God-given talent, gifts and passions.

Hillsong Academy 2020-21, feels like I’m graduating university all over again.

It’s been a wild year but doing ministry with these two legends has and will always be a life highlight that I’ll be sure to tell future generations.

And a huge shoutout to the leaders I’ve tagged and many more! 😊💯
