I still can’t believe I get to type those words. So much of my heart is in these pages, and I cannot wait to finally share them with you.

God, I’m just grateful for You.

I don’t know if I’ll ever have enough words to express just how much I love Dove’s Nest and the incredible staff who pour so much of their hearts into this place. What a tender privilege it is to witness the beautiful work Jesus is doing in the lives of these women.

Yesterday was another reminder that Jesus is still making all things new. What a gift it is to witness lives surrendered, hope restored, and women publicly declaring that they belong to Him. There is truly nothing like watching someone step into the waters of baptism and come up celebrating new life in Christ.

So deeply grateful for Charlotte Rescue Mission and the sacred work they do every single day. And especially grateful for our amazing Covered team. Thank you for the way you continually show up and serve others with so much love and joy. You truly are the most special group of people, and I couldn’t be more grateful to get to do this alongside you. 🫶

I never want to grow familiar with the miracle of a life made new. Thank You, Jesus.

If you ask me where one of my favorite places to teach or simply be is, I would immediately tell you Dove’s Nest.

I may walk through those doors prepared to teach, but every single time, I leave having been taught far more than I ever imagined. There is a courage, a strength, a vulnerability, and such a tender faith within those walls that has marked me in ways I don’t think I’ll ever fully have words for.

This Friday, we get to go back and stand beside more women as they go public with their faith through baptism, and my heart is just deeply grateful. Grateful to be there. Grateful to know them. Grateful that God would allow me and the team to witness even a small piece of what He is doing in their lives.

Revival is stirring in this city - one small yes at a time 🫶

Some things are uncomfortable to talk about because they should be. But our discomfort cannot become someone else’s silence.

My heart has been heavy reading what is coming out of Cornell, but also thinking about how many people carry stories like this quietly—in our schools, our workplaces, our churches, our teams, our families, and the rooms we sit in every day.

When someone has the courage to name what happened to them, may we be people who don’t ask them to soften it so it’s easier for us to hear.

May we listen. May we protect dignity over reputation. May we refuse to cover darkness just because bringing it into the light costs us something.

Jesus, make us people who do not look away.

I went into the water knowing exactly what I was leaving there. 🤎

Covered Nights was so much more than an event for me.

This season of my life has been about surrender. Releasing control. Forgiving. Making peace with my past. Accepting the things I cannot go back and change. Learning that some things don't need another conversation, another explanation, or another attempt — sometimes God is simply calling me forward.

And this night, I got baptized. 🥹🙌🏾

What makes it even more special is that my baby got to be there. She wasn't even supposed to come, but God worked that out too. She worshipped, raised her little hands, clapped, enjoyed ALL the sweets 😂, and got to watch her mama publicly choose Jesus.

I also came expecting to be by myself and somehow ended up surrounded by women. 🥹 One of the sweetest women I met that night stayed with me, recorded my baptism, held my things, and even picked up my big baby while I was soaking wet. 😂🤎

Community. Sisterhood. Worship. Surrender.

I don't know everything that comes next.

But I know Who I'm following.

The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come. 🤎

We had the honor of popping up at @_coveredministries event over the weekend and heard so many testimonies and met so many amazing people who gracefully balance being a masterpiece and a work in progress.
We are so moved by how God showed up throughout the night and believe what took place there is the beginning of new stories. Never forget that you are a living testimony. Your story matters. Nothing is wasted.
