Who’s joining me for a wee festive Mingle? 🎄💛

My @mingleandhome interiors events or "Mingles" as they are known - are great fun interiors social events — a chance to meet lovely people who enjoy homes and interiors as much as you do!

Come along to @artaglasgow on Saturday 14 November- 12 noon till 5 pm - for interiors talks from the incredible @laurajaneclark_ and amazing @artdecojewel Nina Watson, with our Chief Mingler the one and only @johnamabile joining us too!

There’s a welcome drink, buffet lunch, lovely shopping stalls, amazing goody bags and plenty of time to mingle — all with the support of our sponsors @thecitrologist Gin and @cotterellandco ❤️

I’ll be sharing the stall line-up - oh I have absolute crackers - and some new mingle businesses featuring in our goody bags very soon 👀🎁

But meantime - follow our sponsors- @thecitrologist and @cotterellandco now!
A Mingle mission is to follow and support independent and local businesses - and tag your friends and fellow interiors lovers!

The very last tickets are now on sale.
Bring a friend or come on your own — there’s a truly warm welcome waiting and the loveliest folk to meet!

I am looking forward to seeing you all

I’m so delighted to announce that Cotterell & Co are sponsoring The Jingle Mingle! 🎄

They’re a third-generation family business that’s been lighting homes since 1952, with lovely showrooms in Glasgow and Edinburgh. And if you know them for their lighting selection - which is absolutely outstanding- wait until you see everything else they have for your home.

They’ll have a stall at the Mingle, with exclusive discounts for Minglers and Cotterell & Co Mingle competition prizes up for grabs too!

I know you’re going to love them, and I’m absolutely delighted to be working with them on this event.

And those of you who were at The Edinburgh Mingle might well have met Lorraine and Kelsey from Cotterell and Co - as they were fabulous Edinburgh Minglers!

Thank you so much @cotterellandco for sponsoring our Jingle Mingle Event!
Minglers give them a follow and show your support!

And of course

Come and meet them in person at
The Jingle Mingle
Arta, Glasgow, on Saturday 14 November.

Hope you’ve had a wonderful summer!

Just a note to let you know our wonderful account @RealStylishHomes is on a break!

We love sharing your gorgeous homes, however due to algorithms limiting our reach and therefore the opportunities to feature you and our wonderful prize givers, we will wait for a time when support for sharing accounts improves.

In the meantime thank you to every host who’s made this account so warm and wonderful, every guest host for bringing their time and energy each month and of course every prize giver we’ve been honoured to have on board to reward your monthly voted favourites!

And of course every one of you for all the fun and support!

Love from us all and hope to see you soon x

🎄 OK MINGLERS… I HAVE ANOTHER FABULOUS JINGLE MINGLE SPEAKER TO ANNOUNCE!! 🎄

I am SO excited to tell you that the brilliant Laura Jane Clark is joining us at the Jingle Mingle! ❤️

Laura is an Award-winning Architect, TV Presenter and Author — and I genuinely cannot wait to have her in the room chatting all things homes, interiors, architecture and design with us.

And of course this is a Mingle… so Laura isn’t just coming along to speak for a quick half hour. She’ll be spending the afternoon with us, Mingling, meeting everyone, chatting to all you Minglers and answering your questions too ❤️

I have been dying to tell you about this one for ages and I am absolutely delighted that I finally can!

Laura Jane Clark at the Jingle Mingle!! How fabulous is that?! 🎄❤️

A wee glimpse of what running Mingle and Home actually looks like 😂

Laptop open, coffee on the go and a LOT of emails being sent from my house.

The Mingles themselves are all about people, Mingling , laughing, interiors, speakers, drinks and generally having a fabulous time. But there’s an awful lot of this going on behind the scenes to make them happen!

And at the moment, quite a lot of those emails are about sponsorship - Event sponsorship, Goody bag sponsorship, Stall packages!

We already have our first fabulous Jingle Mingle sponsor confirmed — @thecitrologist — ( I am still excited about us having a Gin Sponsor) and building on that excitement I’d love to work with a few more brilliant businesses who would like to get involved not just for The Jingle Mingle but also the 2027 Mingles!

So if you fancy sponsoring a Mingle, having a stall or popping something lovely into 100 Jingle Mingle or Mingle goody bags, please get in touch ❤️ cos I am right here - waiting on your email!🤣

And yes Minglers… Jingle Mingle tickets are on sale too 😂🎄 The link is in my bio !

Minglers, I’m in trouble. 😂

Apparently, folk are a wee bit unsure about us travelling across the country to meet up with people we only know from Instagram. They think it sounds dangerous. 😳

But WE know better.

There’s lunch. There are drinks. There are brilliant speakers. There are stalls . There is @johnamabile There’s lots of chat and laughter. But most of all, there’s each other. ❤️

Because that’s the funny thing about the Mingles. At the beginning, hardly anyone knows anyone.

And now look at us. 🥹

So, Minglers, I need you to do me a favour. Share this to your stories and confirm that:

YOU WERE AT A MINGLE.
YOU HAD A GREAT TIME.
AND YOU CAME TO NO HARM. 😂😂

And to any new Minglers watching — don’t be put off! This group of folk are fantastic.

🎄 Jingle Mingle tickets are on sale now.

Come and join us. I promise you’ll be fine. 👀😂

Looking back at these photos really makes me smile.

Every single one of these wonderful people has given their time, knowledge, enthusiasm and stories so generously to our Mingles. They’ve answered questions, Mingled all afternoon, posed for endless photos, shared their experiences, given their advice and helped make every event feel warm, welcoming and inspiring.

I honestly couldn’t be more grateful to them.
And even better - they are a thoroughly lovely as well as very inspiring bunch of folk! Thank you again to all of them!

And now I’m so excited that Nina Watson will be joining us this November at The Jingle Mingle. I love Nina's interiors and account! I know she will be fabulous and that you will all love her.

The big question is… who’s next? 👀

I’d love to know:
✨ Is there someone you’d love to hear speak at a future Mingle?
✨ What makes a brilliant speaker for you?
✨Do you want Practical tips? Behind-the-scenes stories? Renovation journeys? Design inspiration?
✨or Instagram journeys? Creative success stories?
Something else entirely?

I’m always listening… even if I already have a few ideas up my sleeve!
Because lets face it -
I already have a few folk lined up 😉

But you know me - I am always looking for ideas. So let me know what you liked, what you want more of or just your thoughts!

I am actively planning 2027 so would love to hear from you!

Thanks so much
Anne Marie xx

Ps The Jingle Mingle line up is of course complete!
There's a big announcement coming very soon! Eek!!! Keep watching this space!

I am absolutely delighted to introduce our first Jingle Mingle speaker… Nina Watson od @artdecojewel otherwise known as Nina Watson Interiors

I’ve admired Nina’s account for such a long time. Her interiors are timeless, beautifully considered and full of inspiration. She has a wonderful eye for colour, creates the most elegant family homes, and it’s easy to see why she’s built such an incredible community of 647k Instagram followers.

You may also have spotted her gorgeous new lampshade collection in collaboration with @tinkerandtallulah - it’s absolutely beautiful.

I’m so excited that Nina is coming to Glasgow! She can’t wait to meet everyone, spend the afternoon mingling, chatting all things interiors, and hopefully meet some of her lovely Scottish followers too. I just know you’re all going to love her.
